What do you guys think about DeAndre Jordan?

I'm a Hawks fan, but I've liked the guy since college. I've only seen him a few times, but he was pretty good in a game where one or both of your big guys were out last year. I looked at his player page, and he's not getting any minutes this year. You'd think he could get in there a little more than that.

We all want to see DJ on the court, but the guy is still a big work in progress. He tends to look lost and mishandles the ball. He's a horrible free throw shooter and most of his points come from dunks. I'm sure he'll get more minutes later on in his career, but really at this point he hasn't really proven to be a solid bench player. I think maybe when his FT shooting improves he'll get some more time.
In the Toronto game we blew, they purposely fouled him in the 2nd quarter just to put him on the line. Dunleavy benched him the rest of the game when he went 1/4.. One of them being a airball.

I dont see any potential on him.
Only way he can score is dunk the ball.
He is a turnover prone, once he starts dribbling
He cannot pass.
One of the worst free throw shooters in the league.
Just an average defender.
He is athletic and strong, but he can't block many shots because of bad timing.
On the positive side, I think he has more dunks this season than the rest of the team combined, despite his low minutes.

Huge, strong, fast and athletic. Needs to learn fundamentals though. I can see him becoming a 12/10/2 player in the future. Something like Dalembert but hopefully smarter.
