What happens to 3-point shooters?

I'm sure everyone notices that Clippers are and have been one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league. To solve this problem every season we add good 3-point shooters to the rosters, but somehow their % go down as soon as they become a Clipper.

7 players came to my mind who have played for us in the recent years and compared their shooting with the year before.

Ricky Davis; shot .405 at Miami, .315 with Clippers
Baron Davis; shot .330 at GSW , .302 with Clippers
Tim Thomas; shot .429 at Phoenix, .382 with Clippers
Cat Mobley; shot .445 at Orlando and Sacramento .339 with Clippers
Steve Novak; shot .479 at Houstan .416 at Clippers .268 so far this season
Rasual Butler shot .390 at New Orleans .268 with Clippers
the only exception was Radmanovic who was .367 at Seattle and .418 with us

Anyone has any ideas what the reason might be?

Our offense is stagnant. The ball doesn't move and when it does our spacing is horrible.

We're also missing a ton of open looks.

The Dunleavy offense is not the best for the current Clippers players.

Trying to play half court offense with no real offensive sets, crappy ball movement and iso plays all the time leads to guys taking ill adviced last second shots that won't go in.

Therefore, shooting percantages will go down.

Though, that doesn't counts for Rasual Butler, who couldn't hit the ocean from the three point line, if his life would depend on it...

I totally agree, as some of you have mentioned we're also missing open looks. Hopefully some of them will start dropping for us.

Von Wafer is heading back to the NBA he would be a nice pick-up.

We are also one of the worst teams at setting picks. Despite our abundance of capable bigs, have you noticed how many time they'll establish position and then at the immediate sign of resistance, slide away? It's fundamental basketball! And it's not as though it's pick and roll. Kaman will just linger at the of the key along with the rest. It's no wonder none of our shooters can ever get an open look.
