If we're not gonna make the playoffs...

We should do ANYTHING (this side of trading Griffin/EJ) to get our hands on a pick which would land us Turner OR Johnson in the draft.
We've seen the team half a season now and we've noticed a few shortcomings.
Our bigs tend to struggle a lot when they dodnt have a playmaker (Davis) playing well. We havent seen Griffin but Kaman looks damn good on offense when he has players surrounding him who can set up plays for him and spread the floor.
We've seen Butler is a one dimensional player who's useless when his shot is off. Nice for on the bench.
Thornton is useless, but from what I hear, other fans are high on him. We could ship him and still get back value.
Camby deserves to win. As soon as we fall out of the playoff picture we need to help him out and send him to a contender. All we'd need back is a expiring and a pick or a useful trade piece. Not even a player who'd fit us well.
Eric Gordon is still getting back into things but so far looks like he's not the greatest playmaker at the 2 spot. He's a heck of a player though.
This made me think: Theres two players in the next draft who would be PERFECT on our team: Wesley Johnson and Evan Turner.
Evan Turner would be my #1 choice, because he can shoot a little, spread the floor, rebound, defend and score. He's got good size and is strong. Which brings me to Wesley Johnson.
Johnson is a great shooter, is long with a huge wingspan (which helps offset our backcourt being smallish (but very strong) and can play 3 positions.
Do we have the pieces to, let's say, move up from 10-14 range to the 3-5 range? I feel like both Johnson and Turner will be a top 5 pick.
Could we swing Camby/Thornton/our pick realistically into a top 5 selection? Could we do this without giving up the future Minny pick?
