But you guys were so happy to replace Dunleavy. Be careful of what you wish for. If we end up with Van Gundy, Byron Scott or Avery then it was a good move. This will suck if we end up with Thomas. I predict us not making the playoffs and ending up with the number 1 pick again. I'm not saying we will end up being really bad just barely missing the playoffs but being really lucky and landing the number 1 pick. That luck has a name- Ricky Davis the NBA lottery rabbits foot.

Is Sterling trying to find a new level of hell to put Clipper fans thru?

This has got to be a joke. I'd rather have Dunleavy take his coaching position back than this.

Isiah as Coach, GM, and Vice President? Why not he did such a great job with the Knicks!
God. My condolences Clipper fans.

If this is going to happen we'll need lots of

to get through those years...
Though, Thomas probably would only come here if Sterling keeps paying for this team.

Dunleavy was bad, but Thomas is so most of a downgrade. What the hell are the clips organization thinking. I'm not going to take it seriously until we officially sign someone.
Yeah, Isaiah Thomas is a joke. There is no way this is gonna happen.

Knicks fan here! Some of you may recall my posts last season telling you that you had fleeced us on that Zach/Mardy trade. Well, I kept up with your board until early this season when it was clear Griffin and DeAndre would not play and Dunleavy would not quit.
So take this for what it's worth. You should def. target him as GM/Pres of Ops...but to focus mostly on talent evaluation. Then have someone focus on the cap and how trades affect it. Knowing Sterling the checkbook will not be that open and he will not force him to pay big money players just to fill up the stands.

I was so happy to hear about Dunleavy stepping down, and the I see the news about Thomas. This would be a disaster, doesn't everyone see that the Knicks are still trying to recover from what Thomas has done. I think we only need to hire a new head coach, that's it.

Just in case this comes true I offer you Dan Gadzuric for Blake Griffin and four future 1st round picks. Show that offer to Isiah when he takes over please.

Is this April's Fools Day?
IF Isiah is Hired:
I will return as a Season Ticket Holder and Forum participant the day he is fired.
I give him 2 years, what a waste

Of course not. We all know he made trades to please Dolan. Isiah did nothing wrong. He just worked under the pressure of NY, MSG, Dolan and the rest. Blame them, not him.
Nobody got fleeced for Zach. He's still overpaid for the player that he is. He's the same player he's always been, just on a better team now. He got traded to Memphis for Quentin Richardson. A year prior he was traded for Steve Francis and Channing Frye. He never had that much value and there was a reason for it.
Isiah Thomas does not deserve to have another job as a General Manager again. Maybe he can scout for them. But as a GM? Marbury, Curry, Francis, Jerome, Jeffries, and the rest say otherwise.
