That would be a team to watch for the athleticism alone

I find it interesting that you took the time to come up with this for our team. I'm not sure how good or proven Whiteside is or if he is even going to come out for the draft, so I would start DJ over him at Center. Iggy could probably start over Gordon based on how Gordon has been playing lately.

I checked the ESPN mock and it had the Clippers taking Whiteside, which made me think of how much of an athletic powerhouse the Clippers could feasibly be. Jordan and Iggy would probably deserve the starts, but Whiteside and Gordon are better shooters.

Whiteside is nowhere near ready to start, certainlly not for a contender.
You'd trade for Dala and keep him on the bench?
Not sure how Lebron and Iguodala mash, they both need the ball in their hands.

If we get Iggy and LeBron, I don't think we'll have 5 D-Leaguers on the bench. Veterans would come at a cheap price like they have been for many years just to win a championship.

Anything that involves us getting LeBron and keeping Griffin, Gordon and DJ is something that I'm all for. In that scenario, Iggy and Jordan start over Whiteside and Gordon. We'd probably go small quite often with Baron, Gordon, Iggy, LBJ & Griffin/DJ. It'd be a very exciting team. We'd have a few guys that need the ball in their hands, but we'd also have a few guys that would be able to pass the ball (Griffin included). It would help if Sofo came over and gave us some depth in the frontcourt. Then focused on a backup point and some shooters.

I would love that team, but I would also be worried about the lack of experience at the center position.

I also agree with Pandam00nium, because to fill out the roster, a lot of veterans will be looking to catch on with teams for the vet min, so that shouldn't be a problem.
