Bucs/Patriots 9/22

Post#1 » by craig01 » Sun Sep 22, 2013 2:07 pm

On paper this should be a fairly easy win for the Pats.

But I think for the Bucs to salvage their season, a win on the road today is a must.

Bucs will find a cohesive attitude today, and will beat the patriots 24-21.

Any outcome otherwise, basically throws the rest of the season down the drain.

17-3 Pats at the half. Bucs should have a 13-0 lead, but they continue to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties, our 4th string TE dropped a TD pass, Lindell missed his first FG attempt in the game. And the defense is tired, thus Brady leads the Pats to 17 pts at the end of the 2nd qtr.

Schiano needs to be fired. The team is still making stupid mistakes, that should not happen. This team should be 2-0 entering this game, and should have the lead in this game. If not for the dumb mistakes, the Bucs have played better(minus last 6 mins in 2nd qtr) and have possessed the ball longer than the Pats today.

Schaino is 1-8 in his last 9 games as a Bucs coach, going back to last season.

Bad loss.

Out coached, outplayed, out game-planned.

Looks like the wheels are in the process of falling off.

Playoff chances are just about done, and so is the likelihood of a winning season.

Well done.

The town hates the results, the players hate the coach, and the coach hates everyone.

I listened to most of the GS presser after the game.

Ugh.

I agree but that's not likely to happen.

Although, Schiano did NOT make the return trip with the team today. Apparently there was a family emergency.

It better happen before he benches Freeman for Gleannon. It's not Freeman's fault we are 0-3 it's Schiano. Schiano's hasn't liked Freeman since day 1, for whatever reason. How can you come in and dislike your QB before he plays 1 reg season game for you? Gleannon won't lead us anywhere, except a winless season. Revis spoke out because he is against all this zone coverage the run. Bucs were doing good in 1st qtr today, minus missed FG and dropped TD pass. But once we went to zone looks, Brady picked us apart and we stopped getting pressure on Brady.
