Bucs/Steelers

I would expect that this will be a much better effort this week.

The Bucs had a historically bad performance against Atlanta last week.

The offense sucks, the defense sucks, and last week put the Bucs at the bottom of the barrel of NFL teams.

Glennon could be an igniter of sorts, so Steelers win 27-17.

Going to be a long year.

The Bucs will have DE Johnson, DT McCoy and RB Martin back playing today. We need to pressure Ben with our front 7.

7-0 Bucs in 1st qtr, Steelers got the ball first, McCoy sacked Ben on 2nd offensive play for Steelers, next play DE Johnson got a sack and strip fumble, Bucs recover. Score 2 plays later on 7 yd TD pass to Evans.

Bucs have the ball again, after forcing a 3 and out, Bucs had a good punt return. Let's make it 14-0!!

After returning this week from injury, it appears DE Johnson is out for the game with another injury. He was injured a few plays ago and was slow to get up. Don't know what this injury is. :-(

I spoke too soon, after missing the last 3 defensive series for the Bucs, DE Johnson has returned in the game.

10-10 game in the 2nd.

Steelers take a 17-10 lead, thanks to bad officiating. Antonio Brown should have been called for offensive pass interference, for pushing CB Alterraun Verner in the back, instead the refs called defensive pass interference on Verner, TD for Brown. Replays clearly showed Brown pushed off to get separation.

17-10 Steelers at the half, Steelers kicker missed a 50 yd FG wide right as time expired in the first half. Previously he had made a team record 25 consecutive FGs.

Bucs had a chance to win the game trailing 24-20, had 4th and goal, V Jax was open but the pass from Glennon was too high, even for the 6'5" WR. Steelers take over at their own 12 yd line with 90 seconds to go. :nonono:

Refs blew 2 defensive holding calls by the Steelers, blatant penalties not called.

Bucs force a 3 and out, after a horribly short punt by the Steelers the Bucs get the ball with 50 seconds and less than 50 yds to score, 4 plays later and after a huge 41 yd reception by Louis Murphy on 3rd down, the Bucs score the game winning TD, to VJax. Bucs win 27-24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
