Who would have thought that both of these teams would be 1-3 at this point? Cam Newton has been ruled out with a concussion. Now don't forget, Derek Anderson beat us twice last season filling in for Cam. The Bucs need a win in the worst way possible, hopefully they use motivation of losing to Panthers twice without Newton last yr, to get a win tonight.


Along with Doug Martin, Robert Ayers, Gerald McCoy and Clinton McDonald are expected to be out tonight.



Bucs 24 Panthers 17

Well it wasn't a pretty win, but the Bucs are leaving Carolina as winners. Bucs win 17-14 as a Aguayo hits a game winning 38 yd FG as time expires to give the Bucs the win. Aguayo was 0-2 FGA, before hitting the game winner. No Doug Martin, no Charles Sims, no problem as Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 101 yards on the night.

Bucs are now 2-3 and the only team in NFC South that is undefeated in the divison, at 2-0.


Bye week next weekend. Hopefully Martin, McCoy and Ayers can get healthy and return vs 49ers on the 23rd.

It was a win they needed, lets see if they can build from it.
