The owners are trying to save face. It would look really bad to be going on your fourth coach in 6 years. The fact that they are in this situation makes it obvious they are a huge reason this team is in the shape it is in.

Well it could be a big mistake. The Raiders are planning on going after Gruden, including offering him ownership stake.

The Raiders have hired Jon Gruden. FML! I can't believe the Bucs f'd this up. :evil: :banghead: :banghead:
