The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired seventh-year veteran tailback Michael Bennett from the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs received undisclosed draft picks in 2008 and 2009 based on performance criteria.
Although Bennett does not fit the model of the kind of running back that the club had been attempting to add in trade talks over the past week, the swap provides the Bucs a veteran back who was a starter in the league early in his career, and who was named to the 2002 Pro Bowl after rushing for 1,296 yards that season.
don't know about this trade and giving up two picks. the Vikings were asking for a 2008 4th rd pick for Moore. IMO we should've got Moore.

Melwelde Moore isn't that great either. I was hoping Tampa could pry Taylor from the Vikes. Looks like we'll be drafting a running back this spring. At least Bennett ran for 1000 yards for a couple years. Maybe Tampa's the right place for him. Lord knows Ernest Graham isn't going to cut it. I kind of hoped the Bucs might try to get Tatum Bell from the Lions, but since we play this week thats not too likely.
You look confused...let me fill you in.
