Moral victory #5 Bucs win.

Although I am happy they won, I hope it does NOT save Morris job. He needs to go along with his staff and the GM.

Draft DT Suh !

Morris was comparing this season to Tony Dungy's first, where the Bucs rallied and won their last 5 games. LOL.

I think Morris gets another turn next year no matter what, but the front office sucks as bad as the Glazer's empty wallets. It's kind of a no win situation, which why Morris most assuredly returns next year.

If he returns the Bucs can expect another season of 5 wins or less and a top 5 draft pick. The only way I would keep Morris is if he accepts a demotion to DC. He should have stayed the DC instead the Glazers thought he would be the next Mike Tomlin. WRONG ! And I would keep Morris if he accepted this demotion because the best defense for the Bucs to play is the Tampa 2, Morris knows how to run that system. I'd also keep the ST coach, everybody else gone.

I also wish the Glazers would sell the team.

That would be part of the solution.

Also winning this game most likely put us out of the running for Suh. :banghead: :banghead:

Although Suh may turn out to be a great NFL player, he wouldn't help the Bucs very much.

The Bucs need to trade their early pick as they need multitudes of players. This team has little talent, and one guy won't change that complexion very much if at all.

Your kidding right. I mean he himself will not change the Bucs right away. But the Bucs biggest need is a dlineman who get clog the middle(stop the run) and rush the passer. Suh had 16 TFL, 10 sacks, 1 INT, and 10 PBU his senior yr. All of this from the DT position.

The Bucs drafted DT Roy Miller from Texas in 3rd rd last yr, he also has a lot of potential. Suh would help a lot. The Bucs have average DE's, the can fix that in FA. The have good LB's in Ruud( who they will resign), Hayes and Black. All of them are young and have 2 + yrs experience in NFL(Rudd 5 yrs). They have an above avg secondary(who didn't perform well without T Jackson during his four game suspension, and since his return he is now probably the DMVP for this team, and to due lack of pass rush). Talib is a young corner with a lot of potential, this season was his first as a starter. Barber is aging but can fill the gap till the CB they take in this draft(should be P Robinson(FSU) in 2nd rd) is ready to start. They will have Jackson, Phillips, and Piscatelli at safety positions. They have a young defense for the most part.

Now to offense, You have Freeman at Qb, Graham at FB, Caddy and Ward at RB, Bucs have a very good young Oline when healthy. They do need to upgrade at RT via FA or draft. TEs you have Kellen and Stevens as your receiving TE and Gilmore a good blocking TE. At WR hey should re-sign A Bryant, draft a WR in 2nd rd(they have two 2nd rd picks) , Stovall and Clayton(not very productive), and Stroughter has proven to be a steal slot WR in the 7th rd.

Over all with the help in draft and FA, the Bucs would have a solid young team that has potential and has room to improve.

I still think Morris and his staff need to go.

Not kidding, actually.

Suh is a great college player, but one guy won't change this team one iota.

This team needs cheap depth (draft picks) ASAP if ownership won't spend but pennies when everyone else is spending dollars.

BTW- I agree that Morris has done poorly so far and the Bucs could use an upgrade there for sure although that's not likely.

That's not for sure, IMO it would be dumb for the Rams to take Suh. They need a franchise qb, Bulger is crap and always injured. I highly doubt the get a QB via FA. They need to draft a QB with 1st overall pick.

I also see you did not read what I wrote, I never said Suh would change the Bucs himself. But he would greatly help out on defense. As before I pointed out the Bucs have a good LB core and secondary.

The Rams won't take a franchise QB at #1 because there is none this year.

Suh will go first barring something unexpected coming up.

If I were the Bucs though, I'd trade that pick at #2 and get multiples out of it.

JMO.
