With all due respect to both of you guys, I would say the way to stop it is for both of you to grow up a little bit.

Pday, you don't have to throw in your little snide remarks as often as you do. That gets old. You're an older guy and older guys might have more wisdom, but their wisdom often comes across as Mr. Knows It.

Twist, brother, you need to drop it down a thousand. Your heart is going to explode. You are younger and passionate. And that's what draws people to you, but it's also what pushes some people the wrong way.

Most of us want you two to bury the hatchet and have you both stick around and make this board interesting - like a good book is interesting not like a train wreck is interesting.

Tell you what, I'll send you both a bottle of bourbon if you would both agree to drop your hostilities and each of you would come to this forum and toast the other guy in "Bury the hatchet" thread. What say you?

I value the opinion. Those little snide remarks here were follow ups to outlandish statements. Do a little research if you think this so. I can not compete with face book relationships. It's beyond stupid to challenge another poster to a football quiz stand off....even more when you talk about nobody liking that poster and only the one's that do, just suk that posters D.

That T y has a nice ring to it. My sons name is Ty not TY. At the first of the year , I heard one of the talking heads say the Colts had the worst roster in the league with exception to their Qb. I definitely don't agree with that. I actually think their defense is pretty good. They have two good CBs. Some will say well Big Ben tore them up. Well I know one of the CBs were out if not both.

Offensively, I do worry about Lucks legs too. He runs really well. They are a good team that we do not know well. I know they will throw it 40 to 50 times. I haven't dwelled on this one like I did the last one thankfully. I said it a few weeks ago that we needed to score 30 plus for the next 3 games. We really didn't need 30 in the other 2, but this one I think we will

Clearly I don't always follow my own advice which is why I end up in the same types of arguments as you guys do, but "ignore" is the easiest and simplest answer.

For the record I didn't mean just you two either. A lot of the bickering has found it's way over here lately. I'm not one to judge and not in a position to try to stop it when I sometimes do the same, but I do recognize that it is what kills these types of boards...

Wayne has been dropping a lot of passes as of late. Don't know if he has a nagging injury or just getting old. Either way I hope for that to continue. Often times that is the only way for our defense to look good or get a break. Dropped passes!

Look, I like both you and Twist. I think you are both probably stand up guys in real life, though maybe in different ways. That said, the reality is that you both have a share of the blame in this ongoing feud and so only both of you can resolve to let it die, if for no other reason than for a free bottle of bourbon.

I too get into arguments lately just with Malko. I placed him on ignore so it's easier not to fight with him. I don't even see his posts unless someone quotes him. Yes I can chose to see every post he makes but I don't.

At this point I think it's best if PDay and Twist completely ignore each other. I think the nastiness between who I think are both football smart people hurts the board. That's my 2 cents worth.

Hmm wonder what all the old posters that used to argue the Cutler is better than Romo think now ?
Considering that Trestman is most likely getting the first ride to O'hare out of town after the season ends he might be trying to save his job.

Schmoopy1000 wrote:Hey pools. What was your name over at the hoop cowboys board?

I am not allowed to start threads, participate in polls or basically do anything but respond to threads. The irony is I wasnt starting any threads or doing any of the things I am banned from doing now. I only responded to the nimrods that were embellishing what happened. I was just keeping it real, never lied or exaggerated anything. Just corrected them on the recent current events. & might have mentioned how it was Bull$h!t. So the one thing they didn't like from me. (me responding) is now the only thing I am allowed to do there LOL
I hadn't started a thread on the cowboys board ever since Fordman asked me & Manster not to start threads about twist or Pday. So I started none at all.
Now I wont even participate on that Cowboys board. Why would I want to help a board full of such total horse$h!t & where they allow such sniveling b!tches to run the roost.
I do however respond on other boards, such as the NFL (not about Cowboys stuff though) all the different racing boards, entertainment, boxing, & such. Before all the drama with the FNers though. The Hoop was my main Cowboys board I participated in, so it was a shame they went stupid on their own rules & ruined that board.
Personally though, I don't really have an issue with Texheat. The actual drama queen I cant stand seeing post over there is Otis. he is the only one I really have an issue with. As long as they aren't talking out their A$Ses (lie) about what/who ever that cant come & defend themselves anymore, I see no reason to participate on the cowboys board. Which they havent done in a bit. So it might take them awhile longer to actually ban me fully. Unless they just do it for $h!ts & giggles.

I never thought for a second that they hoop management were not reading what we post here.

Well since Hammer said some were banned for recruiting they either got that info from Ford and the pickem board or they went through our PM's.

I'm of the belief it was PM spying since we didn't talk that much about it on the pickem.

To hell with the hoop. I will NOT go back. I haven't even looked at that board for a week or two until this thread was made.

Should have read further. I agree with you Manster on the PMs. Also think they are reading here, but I really don't care. The only thing that would bother me would be if UK started showing up here. He brought down the Hoop Cowboy board even though those that are still there don't seem to realize it, or don't want to admit it. I know most of you hate Otis, but he doesn't bother me, only UK and Texas Heat.

I could deal with Otis and Heat long before UK. Funny thing about heat and Otis is we called out heat for trolling and Otis got his panties in a wad. That was the beginning of the end.

Ahh… the good old Hoop.

Whatever happened to Hammer (aka - Justin Snyder)… especially when his little game of using real names to troll people on that place backfired badly?

And - he ended up selling it.

Good times.
