Pacman Jones involved in altercation

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (TICKER) —Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones may have found himself in trouble once again.

According to multiple reports, Jones was involved in an altercation with his personal bodyguard late Tuesday night at the Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that Jones was attending a party hosted by rapper Ludacris and got into a fight with bodyguard Tommy Jones, damaging a bathroom in the process. Police were eventually called, but reportedly no arrests were made.

Dallas deputy chief Vince Golbeck told the Dallas Morning News that Jones may have been drinking. Neither Jones nor the Cowboys have had any official comment.

The 25-year-old cornerback was just reinstated on August 26 by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell following a one-year suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. He has a history of legal problems - including six arrests - since entering the league as a first-round draft choice of the Tennessee Titans in 2005.

Since joining the Cowboys in an April 23 trade, Jones has kept his nose clean until now. He has been a major contributor in the secondary, leading the club with 11 pass deflections.

our secondary is bad enough w/ roy out and newman not 100%. hopefully he avoids suspension, but not very likely.

Cowboys aren't going to do anything so I doubt the league will do anything. I'm sure Jerry talked it over with Goodell to avoid any suspension. Hope i'm right cos the secondary can't afford to lose him.

Only bad thing about this is now is that we're going to hear about from now til Monday everywhere we look. Last week it was TO, now Pacman. All the Mr Morals will be out in full force.

well we know the cowboys arent going to disciplin pac, but im still worried goodell might. wasnt pac on a zero tolerance?

espn radio saying that tank johnson giving some advice to pac. uummm, maybe he is not the right guy to do that. lol

Adam has suspended for a minimum of four games by the NFL. Adds to how bad the week has been for the team.

i just dont understand the reasoning for suspending him not just 1 game but 4 for what amounted to nothing, no police report no damages caused just an altercation, i hate goodell

4 games just because of who he is. If this was any other player it wouldn't have even been talked about.

Reading Matt Mosley's blog on ESPN.com really annoys the heck out of me lately. I always thought Bill Simmons talked out of his ass, but Mosley is getting up there too to join his ranks. Reading his blog would make you think that the Cowboys are going to be a 5-11 team, and that Pacman or TO is the devil himself.
