GRADE: D+

• Dallas Cowboys: No primo picks after last year's deal for WR Roy Williams, then had 12 choices on Sunday. Not a team with a ton of holes, though. LB Jason Williams does everything at top speed, including making mistakes. But he brings athleticism and hustle on every snap. OT Robert Brewster is big (6-4, 325) but a little short on strength and power. QB Stephen McGee could be a find in the fourth round. Career at Texas A&M derailed by coaching change and injury. Grabbed a couple of DEs in fourth round to offset loss of Chris Canty.

How come we pick up another kicker when we have Nick Folk?

we picked up a kicker b/c nick folk absolutely sucks at kickoffs and this guy had 48 touchbacks last year at usc (folk had 0) plus he's a workout warrior so maybe he'll also be able to play special teams coverage (he ran a 4.6 and did 27 reps at the combine)

of course we could also trade him in training camp if there's no more roster room, which wouldnt surprise me at all

folk was told not to kick it through the end zone. The Special teams sucked and they could not risk that the recieving team would bring it out. I think that Ferris Bueler got hurt when a steel beam fell on him at minicamp this weekend.

be that as it may, i doubt he'd still be able to split the difference of 48 and 0. plus he kicked several out of bounds last year too

i was wondering if that was part of the reasoning for the pick, i believe he played in juco along w/fullback. he's got the workout speed/strength to be able to do it but im curious if he's strong enough to fight through/shed blockers to actually contribute on special teams

Wow. This guy looks awesome. I hope they do use him for more than kicking. He sounds like a beast. I don't think I've ever heard the word beast and place kicker in the same sentence. This guy would be the exception.
