Reason's why Dallas is struggling

Post#1 » by Go76ersGo » Thu Nov 13, 2008 11:26 pm

Injuries, injuries, and BTW did I mention injuries?

Dallas right now, is battling injuries on both sides of the ball. Felix Jones out, Witten has been playing with broken ribs. Adam Jones is recovering lol, Henry, Williams, Newman.

Romo is coming back for Sunday's night game against Washington, which yes will be alot better than Johnson and Bollinger combined. However what about the Offensive power. Will Barber be able to carry the Power back role for 25-30 touches. He doesn't have the speed that Jones has to get to the outside and bust one for 60 yards, however yes he does have the strength to knock Defenders over.

Dfense we're hurting in almost every position.

Offense has forgotten how to block and complete a pass
Defense has forgotten how to tackle and cover
Special teams have cranial rectal inversion

This is a typical Wade Phillips team. Teams start strong and then fade when they realize what a pushover he is. The super- arrogant cowboys just have done it sooner. Makes me sad ans I saw this as a favorite this year.

Name another team that can lose its QB, RB, both CBs, and TE and compete.

The Cowboys will be ok and if they can reduce there penalties they can win every game. I doubt they will but this team has more talent than any 2 teams in the NFC combined.

Some of the worst games were without Romo and Newman only. Namely the St Louis game, and they did not play well vs Cincy and Wash with Romo. This team has a motivation problem, and I take that to be a HC issue.

#1 Reason: Jerry Jones hired himself as GM 15 years ago.
#2 Reason: Jerry Jones hired himself as head coach 2 years ago after firing Bill Parcels.
#3 Reason: Jerry Jones hired Wade Phillips as a assistant head coach 2 years ago.

Yeah, that's right, Jerry is the head coach / GM of the Dallas Cowboys. Believe it.

#1 he has been GM since day one. "Socks to Jocks" comment. He has just been much more involved lately.
#2 I dont really know about that, but he does try to keep his ear in the huddle. I doubt he is calling plays and the like
#3 Wade is a puppet, but is grateful to have another HC job. He will never amount to much as HC. He is like Buddy Ryan in that he is much better as coordinator than HC.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
