Post#1 » by boogiesdad » Sat Oct 3, 2009 12:52 am

Felix is out,

Barber is back.

Romo seems to have grown up alot in week 3.

Any thoughts?

another loss that could have been avoided. This is not a good team. That is the second shut out half in two weeks.

That was ugly!

We failed to tackle Marshall at the end and on offense the boys take their chances at Champ Bailey? Wow!

Not good at all.

Problems with this team
- When the game is on the line, the defense never gets a stop
- Romo's accuracy is shot and its taking his confidence. I think his hand is still hurt.
- An overall lack of mojo. I don't know what it is, but the team is frequently listless. Maybe that's the leadership problem that Emmitt spoke of.

Now word is out that Romo thought that 4th down was 3rd down, and that Wade did not know that Barber was hurt again inthe second half. This ship has no captain. I would happily take a micromanager on the field coaching over this ship of fools who cannot execute basic plays. Wade yesterday blamed the blitz for going to Hurd a second time. I say spread Witten out to one side by himself on 4th. Wade is more what the ticket portrays. He is not head coach material. He is a much better coordinator than HC. Makes me ill to hear him bumble through a PC. I cannot wait for Monday, Jan 4 when Wade is tossed aside and (Gruden, Cowher, Holmgren, Shanahan, Dungy) take over and lead this team back at first to respectability, then the playoffs. I think the rest of the league sees Cowboys as fools, and easy pickings. Michael Lombardi was saying how soft phillips is on everyone, and Romo especially has taken advantage of that type of situation.

We already have a micromanager owner who despite his 20 years in the league is still not a "football man" but a fantasy owner who would rather sign ill fitting big names versus players who fit a system.

To misquote the manager in Bull Durham, "We are 2 and 2. How did we ever win 2?"

I am sure once I cool off, I will come back to reality and cheer for my favorite laundry. Just ticks me off right now to hear about all of this basic stuff getting ignored or forgotten.
