Wade here to stay

Post#1 » by catalyst » Tue Jan 19, 2010 11:13 pm

Ticket reporting that Wade has a new 3 yr deal. Mixed feelings, but I guess the players like him. I just dont know how that limp noodle can inspire anyone.

Theory around dallas has been that Wade will coach next year and then no coach for work stoppage so jerry can save that money.

Just listened to presser. Wade got option picked up plus one year. Wade will be 65 when this expires. He is still a limp noodle. Tried to throw out um's "Kick the !*#?!" door down", and of course screwed it up.

With this year having super bowl winning coaches out there, at least talk to them. Even with Cowher out, talk to Dungy and Gruden. Talk to some Fire breathing College guys. Wade does not know that Barber is hurt and that it is 4 and 1 on the Minny 30? That is unacceptable. In this situation, Jerry has his dream of being completely in charge and Wade being the DC. That has not ever worked with an Owner/De facto coach. At least Halas said he was the coach. Why doesnt jerry just cut the formality and make himself Coach. He did learn that big names do not make successful teams. Pacman, TO, Tank, etc all went away. I want a coach that will NOT say "I agree with whatever Jerry thinks" like Wade did this year. That was one of the weakest things I have ever heard, and clinched it for me. If Jerry is in such love with Wade, then why only 2 years. He should have given him 4. Wade us a weak head coach but a great Defensive Coordinator. I want a strong personality that will make his opinion known to Jerry, and will manage the people who manage the processes. Wade is not good at managing the people.

Spleen vented, return to discussion. I can make it worse if needed.

At least he got that first playoff win with the Cowboys under his belt. Questions - what are ya'lls thoughts on Todd Grantham, the d-line coach who left to be the defensive coordinator at UGA. I'm a big UGA fan and want to know if the pressure he got out of the front line in the 3-4 was decent.

Not sure anyone knows. Wade has gotten so much credit for D. Do look at the development of Ratliff at NG

Wade is solid and has done an Amazing job with the Defense.

Garrett is still having issues with play calling.................. There's our issue.

That and the O-Line was useless against Minny.
