Off Season 2010
I have not read or heard any Cowboy FA moves or rumors. I know that Jerry is limited, but to nothing? Also, when did these rules affecting the Top 8 Team signings come into place? I dont remember then 2 years ago.

Re: Where's Jerry
ya, they want to restrict the best teams from getting better so you're limited as to how much you can spend per player, unless i believe one of your unrestricted f/a's leave (which we have few of)

Re: Free Agency 2010, or Where's Jerry?
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed concern Tuesday about the consequences of a possible "poison pill" contract offer to restricted free agent Miles Austin.
"That's always a concern and that's one of the things that needs to be addressed in the new collective bargaining agreement," Jones said. "Those are called unintended consequences there." The league has frowned on the practice since the Vikes-Seahawks wars a few years back, and Jones wants to see it outlawed in writing. He has insisted that he'll match all offers for Austin. http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/archi ... -incl.html
