OT: Cowboys fire head coach Wade Phillips

Sorry LeBron your favorite team sucks.

Wade Phillips was released of his duties Monday after the team's 1-7 start, according to the league's website. Rumor is OC John Garrett takes over

The NBA’s two-time reigning MVP is a devout Cowboys fan, but when Dallas’ game in Green Bay was turning into a 45-7 blowout loss, James says he had to look away.

“Very tough, man,” James said after his Miami Heat practiced on Monday. “I’ve never had to change channels when my Cowboys played. I was changing between ‘Eastbound and Down’ and my Cowboys, so I knew I was kind of frustrated at that point.”

James even took to Twitter during the game, saying Dallas is “officially the worst team in the NFL right now even though the Bills are winless!”

Bout damn time! I was starting to feel bad for the guy and I'm a Giamts fan.

RIP Wade Phillips coaching career. You may be missed.

Well duh what a disgrace thank goodness I adore DA RAVENS. Once Romo gets healthy he's the next major who should be on the chopping block....

Isn't it comical how Lebron and Bosh almost go out of their way to show how mainstream they are? Hey my tweet fans I'm watching Entourage best show on T.V.....durhhhhhhh I'm cool durhhhhh hey guys I'm watching Eastbound and Down......durhhhh durhhhhh....Hey guys I'm going to be in Entourage....durhhhhh durhhhh

I was hoping he would still be coaching when they played the Giants. A few years late on that one.

I'm surprised Lebron didn't jump onto the Packers bandwagon when they started pulling away by 20 or 30.

Bosh's entire game is modeled after season 1 Turtle. Playing chauffeur and trying to pick up Vinny's scraps.

Reminds me of the Isiah Thomas era for the Knicks. Players are undisciplined and Wade is out coached in every game. The front office and Jerry Jones has had bad drafts, trades, and signings. But it is easier to fix an NFL team because of contracts aren't guaranteed.

Changing head coaches is not going to help, time and time again you cannot be an owner and be the gm at the same time it does not work that way. They sitll got the toughest schedule out of anyone, and changing head coaches won't help them this week versus the Giants.

Wade is a manager, not a leader. HE wants to be liked or loved, not respected. The world fell apart around him this year. Time to move on for 8 games and Garrett, then the big leader will come in. Darkhorse in these here parts in John Fox if he gets canned in Carolina. Jerry know and likes him. I dont see it, but that is the whisper.
