you said within the last 10 years.. 10 years ago piazza hit 362 with 40hrs and 124rbis.. followed by 328 with 32hrs ... followed by 303 40hrs .. followed by 324 38 hrs .. followed by 300 36 hrs .. 280 33hrs , thats just 6 years ago. since then hes still averaged 280 20hrs give or take. not to mention playing in LA and Shea, pitchers parks that cost him at least a couple hrs a year. btw, dont use all around player, posada couldnt block a beachball. yea his arm was better than piazza's, but piazza was far superior at blocking balls and fielding in general. btw, posadas hit above only 280 in his career twice (3x assuming he will this season), you are vastly overrating him.

C- Lo Duca or Posada -- Duca. posada is always overrated by NYY fans (havin a good yr this year though)
1B- Delgado or Giambi - delgado. although i'm not a big fan of his..
2B- Cano or Valentin - cano. not close.
SS- Reyes or Jeter - reyes. he can do it all.
3B- Wright or A-Rod - arod. not close.
LF- Alou or Matsui - matsui. alou's always injuried.
CF- Beltran or Damon - beltran. not close
RF- Green or Abreu - green. abreu's stats look nice. but he's a guy i wouldn't want on my team.
Starting Pitching - NYY.
Bullpen -NYM
dead even.

Nobody would choose lo duca ahead of posada....
You say reyes I say jeter that should be equal IMO. And on abreus worst year he's still better than green.

posada is defintely a good catcher don't get me wrong. but he's not "great" like a million NYY think. he's never had 1 season of having a.300 season.
and how is he "so big" in the playoffs if his career BA in the post season is .241?!
only 3 series' he's had over .300 in the playoffs. the guy bats .208 in the world series for his career also.
he's defintely overrated. he's solid/good but he's not amazing or great.
although lo duca as been slacking DEF he's a great contact hitter. i wish willie would put him in the 2 hole more often (where he was last year). i'd take lo duca's bat over posada's anyday. (posada's havin a good year this yr. but it wont last). posada's good def while lo duca's only ok.
duca had 3 years of batting over .300 btw. duca made his 1st apperance in the playoffs last year. batted .455 vs the dodgers but only somewhere around 200 vs the cards.
duca and posada both have only 2 years in which they've had 10+ errors.
for me. abreu's just to soft to want on my team. green's hitting. w/ that pick it's more of me not liking abreu then my like for green. honestly.

I don't know what EQA means, but Posada is better, want some more kool-aid Mets? By the way anyone remember Loduca hitting .207 in the NLCS last year?

I'm sorry but that's a terrible justification, ARod is a 3B for the Yankees, and the discussion is whether or not people would prefer the Mets' 3B or the Yankees 3B.
And if you truly believe that, then change ur SS from Reyes to ARod, unless you are now going to come up with some ridiculous fact that speed means more than ARod's 24 homers and 63 RBI through 61 games.
Matsui played CF in Japan for years, so I think I'm going to consider him a CF and take him over Beltran. And Mo came up as a SP, so he is the best starter between both teams, right?
