What does it take to be a true Cowboys fan?

Post#1 » by PlayerMania » Mon Oct 31, 2011 4:39 am

It seems like all the Cowboys fan's vanish when the team isn't playing well like they have been lately. How would you define a "real" fan? I think they should know the history of the Cowboys and stay updated on the teams events. I don't think you need to go to every game. You should of been to at least one game in your life. How would you define a "real" Cowboys fan?

A person who cheers for a team always, good times and bad. I suffered through the 1-15 season of 1989. Such pain, but did beat Redskins with Steve Walsh at the helm. Cowboys are down now, but will recover again

Being a true Cowboys fans means being able to "call a spade 'a spade'". If something is wrong, there's nothing bad about admitting it and pointing it out. That means that you want to see an improvement. No need to pretend that everything is fine when it obviously isn't.

i watched every game that yr. I was overseas in the Navy during the 92 season. the only game I saw was the superbowl.

If you still believe Dorsett>Smith Staubach>Aikman

If you still get choked up when you see the fedora hat.

As a Cowboys fan I always route for whoever is playing the:
Redskins
Steelers
49ers

If you still hate the Steelers and 49ers your a true Cowboys fan.

A true Cowboy fan has loathing and hating the redskins high on their list.
