Why is it that I see this monster for BAMA , number 27, wearing a Giant uniform in the future

Should be more concerned seeing Oregon's #8 in Philly if Kelly still has any power on that team now. Wouldn't doubt seeing a RG3 style trade from Philly.

I wish nothing but the best for Mariotta. He seems like a great guy. I'm hoping he doesn't go to one of our rivals because I want to like him. With that being said, he is probably a lot further away than many think to being a really good qb in the NFL. Sure he has a nice skill set, but he throws to WRS that are wide open constantly - usually his first read . I've been on this point all year- I'm worried about the future of the Qb in the nfl.

I would love to see Philly do a RGIII trade for Mariotta. Gotta remember it would take more for Philly to move up because they are drafting at 20 not 5.

Was reading it would take 3 #1's a 2nd and a top tier player to move up.

Im not sure it would take quite that much the Skins were completely fleeced with that trade I could see 2 #1's this years 2nd and 3rd.

Bucs need players now and TONS of help

Considering the predicted price came from a NFL Exec I'd lean towards the price really being that high. Especially knowing Kelly's love for PAC12 players. Not to mention Mariotta is one of his.

no way Philly is that desperate at Qb. Foles will be back. It is not like the skins who had absolutely no one to choose from if they didn't get a QB. Philly wont pay that price. Even if the HC really wanted his guy. besides Synder doesnt control the eagles. I don't think the eagles makes a lot of dumb trades in the draft. They are a bit more savvy than the skins. :)

You are MOST likely 100% correct. But we know Kelly loves his PAC12 guys and he want a QB that can run his read option. I seriously doubt Philly makes this trade but there's talk about it for a reason.

not the best example but 2013
rams traded for #8 and #71
gave bills
#16, 46, 78, 222

Closer 21 positions
Falcons got #6 Julio Jones for
#27, 59, 124 and a 1st and 4th the next season

Moving up to two for a coaches dream QB will cost more than moving to 6 for a RW. Your first example isn't a equal comparison but it was still an expensive trade to move up from 16 to 8.

The value grows as you move towards the #1 pick. To get from #6 to #1 likely costs you pick #6, the next years first rounder and probably more. You want to move up to #6 with a package like that and I'll say there's a chance, but not for the number 1 pick...
