Hate to disagree but that's what football coaches do...they exploit match-ups they like and they've looked for that match up all year. Besides, Beasley, Witten nor Dunbar had established separation...could a perfect pass in the perfect spot made a 1st down? Perhaps, but a pretty darn perfect pass was made to Dez. It's football and like all other sports....woulda, coulda, shoulda works well after the fact.

To each his own but make no mistake, your opinion carries no more wait than any other fans.
LOL at me cause I think not being afraid to lose is a large part of what I liked about this Dallas Cowboy team this season.
1st, 2nd or 3rd down I agree. On 4th down you throw a high % pass. Beasley looked wide open to me and Willliams may have been too, but I couldn't see him on the review I was looking at. But, Romo never looked so all of them could have been wide open and it wouldn't have mattered. Live to see another down in that spot...and I don't change my opinions AFTER THE FACT.
Let's try to be fair here. The Packers were bringing the heat and Romo was going to need to get rid of that ball. He didn't have all day, and they had already had some success getting to him, even if some of that was his own fault. There was single coverage on Dez, and Dallas tends to take that. The best you can see from the replay is that Beasely was open, perhaps only briefly. They weren't going to let Witten catch that ball, and I think Dunbar forgot where the 1st down marker was or something, because I thought he was in a real bad position if the ball came his way. Williams seemed to be taking to long to get open considering that ball was going to come out fairly quick.
Hey, I would have loved a slow, methodical drive for a TD, leaving no time on the clock, but things don't always work out like that. They had a pair, and they let them swing in a favorable match-up. I would have liked things to work out differently, but I sure ain't mad at 'em. If anything said they were playing to win or falling short trying, it was that play. KI get where you're coming from, but kudos to them for growing a pair.
