I don't see how it goes down any other way.

Jerry is going to do a full deal with Dez. Dez basically made it impossible with his performance.
He will then tag Murray because we are not ready to be without him yet and can't swing 2 contracts.
Not to mention the optics would look really bad.

The real issue is the nature of the positions. Murray will be 30 and this is when RB start to jump the shark if they have not already.
It is tragic to have to think this way about a guy who was so good. It is what it is.

Between the 2 players you have to tag the one who is more likely to give you diminishing returns.

The only wildcard I see. If Dez wants to be the highest paid receiver and won't budge an inch during talks
Jerry could just get pissed and tag him.

Murray is 26 and will be 27 when this season starts and ends.

I'm an idiot. I just realized what I did. When i check his aged I looked real quick and got his number and not his age.

It surprises me how little love Demarco is getting because if I had an MVP vote I'd vote for him and not Rodgers. He carried this team on his back and kept that D off the field. I know RBs are devalued in this league but there are plenty of teams that need a good RB. Can this new rookie (ie) pass block and catch balls out of the backfield like Demarco? Demarco was just DOMINATING all season long and people are ready to dump him.

As for AP there isnt one RB in the NFL that I would sign at his age EXCEPT for him. I think he is a complete physical freak of nature and would DOMINATE behind the Cowboys OLine for a few years. It just seems like something thats going to happen. McCoy wasnt dominant this year and spent too much time dancing in the backfield but if Philly didnt have him I'd be really worried. That worry might come soon cause I dont see them continue to pay 9 mill for a RB. He's probably done after 2015 and he will only be 27 then.
