If you ever want to listen to the local Dallas radio stations the The Fan can be streamed on the Radio App and The Ticket can be streamed on iHeart Radio. I get the impression that The Ticket would be more your style.

The Dallas Cowboys app also has some good streaming.

After thinking this one over, I'm not sure The Ticket would be his cup of tea. Their level of jackassery might be a little too much for his tastes. My only issue with the Fan is they can be a little too pro-Jerry at times. But as they are the home of the Cowboys, that's to be expected.

Yea they're the flagship station. They tend to lean towards the homerish side. Also the Fan is really strictly a sports station. Whereas the Ticket is more like guy radio with an emphasis on sports. I personally have favorites shows on both stations. Like I'm not really a fan of the Musers but I love the Hard Line. Also really like Bad Radio. I start my day though with Shan and Shariff and then G-Bag on the Fan. Then I switch over to Bad Radio during the day and listen to the Hard Line on the way home.

Rangeley, Maine. One of the most beautiful areas in the State. I would give to be able to live on a fresh water lake and live there year round like when I was a kid. After school got out for the summer, the whole family moved to my grandparent home on the lake. I sure do miss those days. Tough life waking up and starting your day with a morning water ski. The summer lake life is what it is all about, but I also spent a good portion of my life in the North Maine woods with my grandfather, fly fishing for native Mountain brook trout. Do I have some places for you guys. I even tie my own flies since I was 11 years old. Taught the class for a few years as well. Except for January - March, you can't beat it here.

Jerry Jones explains why he won't place Jaylon Smith on IR

While many in the Dallas Cowboys organization don't believe Jaylon Smith will play in the 2016 season, Jerry Jones has a different take.

The owner/GM believes his second-round pick out of Notre Dame has a chance to play this year. Jones went on 105.3 The Fan Thursday morning to discuss.

"Smith is just one of the exceptional players that I've seen and others that I rely upon have seen," Jones said. "Although we've got to redshirt, for the most part, I will not [injure reserve] him. We will take the chance that he can get back at the later part of the season, maybe into the playoffs. He will not be IR'd.

"That obviously means we think he has possibly some play time."

Funny guy that Jerry is. I saw that on ESPN a short time ago. He thinks we will make the PLAYOFFS with this defense. Good luck.

If he does actually play this season, there are 30 GM's out there who will be pissed they didn't take him. The 31st is Little Bill. He's already pissed because Jerry beat him to the punch. There is no secret that he wanted him badly. It's the primary mitigating reason I'm not real upset about the Cowboys grabbing him when they did.

As my friend posts often about Rangeley.. "It doesn't suck living here". She posts some wonderful pictures of the place. I really do want to make it up there and experience it.

That sounds pretty awesome. I don't live near anything like that here. The closest thing to that I have is when me my dad and brother go to our deer lease in East Texas. That's always fun to explore the woods and do some shooting.

There is no way in hell I would allow Jaylon to step foot on a football field this year. Give that nerve time to start firing again and then give him the rest of the year to completely heal.

I think their offense is good enough to get them to the playoffs. Remember the division is still pretty weak. I could see them easily winning the NFC East and getting in. Now advancing, that's a different story.

I lived at Lake Texoma for a couple of years. Evening boat rides at sunset with a few cold ones and attractive members of the other gender... yanking big ol' channel cats out... mornings on the deck with coffee and the Morning News...

Good times.

We don't like or approve deer farms. how inhuman. Even hard core hunters up here believe they should be in the wild, and that's what we have here. plenty of woods and a home for all deer. They are fairly hunted up here in the wild.

A lease is not a deer farm. It's a piece of land that you lease that you can hunt on. The whole area is woods and the deer are free to roam. There are no fences that keep them on the land.

I gave up hunting many years ago. I stick to fly fishing only for native mountain brook trout. Its one of my passions outside of routing for our hopeless Football team.

Yea Escobar hasn't really shown crap since he's been here. I tend to give TE's a little break though because it's hard for them to succeed here as long as Witten is still playing. He's so damn good at everything that it's almost impossible to take him off the field. I'm not sure how much time he has left though. I could be wrong but I believe this is a contract year for him. The team will have a decision to make. How much money does he want and how much are they willing to pay him. Stephen has shown especially this off season that he will not over pay for a FA. If Witten is willing to take a deal for what they have determined his value to be then he continues to start here. If he demands more (hard to see that) then I think they let him walk.

But back to the point, if the new TE is at least as good as Escobar then it was a good late 6th round pick.

TE is the only weak link on the offense now. Now that we have Elliot, personally I would love to go single TE and use more full back formations. Pound the ball more and you have an extra blocker for Romo.

I agree, I'd like to see them running out of the I-Formation more. I'm not sure they will though unfortunately. If anything they will motion a TE to block. Garrett has used that since he's been here. The good think is that Ohio St. ran out of the shotgun almost exclusively and they run a zone blocking scheme. Dallas also does both, so Zeke should still be extremely successful without a FB.

That's why Garrett is s so, so coach. Witten is over the hill. our other TE's can't run routes, get open or catch passes. What makes you think any of these guys can block? Lets get another full back like Moose, sit the tight end down and bring in another of our great linemen and pound the damn ball. I bet a great full back and another Ol blocking will also be better protection for room. I've never been all that impressed with Witten as a blocker anyways.

Hey I'm with 100%. I think the best thing they could do for Romo and Zeke is get a dominating lead blocking FB. Romo would never get hit with that OL, the best blocking RB in the game (Zeke), and a dominant blocking FB. Unfortunately Red doesn't see it that way. He's obsessed with this 2 TE set that has NEVER worked here. Witten is the best blocking TE on the roster. The problem is that he's also the best rout running TE we have AND he's Romo's security blanket. On the bright side they moved Rod Smith to FB with the hopes of him making the team and actually contributing from that position. They also moved Keith Smith from LB to FB
