So this is now what you are all about now when those that disagree with you on topics. I haven't changed my mind. D. Ware imho is still over rated and I hope he doesn't become a member of the Cowboys ring of honor due to the fact he is undeserving. We don't need to shame the other ring of honor members by lowering the standards of his sub par team results.
Pretty sad when sports forums start to become more decisive than inclusive when it comes to banter, debate and discussion when they don't totally agree on everything. Has it got to a point now in today's society and in sports forums that we now hate people the rest of our lives because we don't agree with everything about them or how they feel differently about issues? Feels like that with you lately based on your recent pop shot comments (reading between the lines) over the past few months. We go back all the way to the ESPN forum days. Where did it go wrong? Or does it even matter anymore?

Shoot...you & Otis have some kind of beef? That's a bummer.
You gotta admit though, you kind of set yourself up for that joke. That one's on you.

Beef doesn’t solve anything. Didn’t we learn anything from Biggie and Tupac?

I never knew we had a beef till just recently. I mean I don't have a beef with Otis at all. Wish he was around more to be quite honest. most of the time I enjoy his perspective and other angles he brings to the discussions we have. However its quite apparent to me he has one with me. If so, I just wish I knew what it was all about so if there is anything I've done or said on my end I could correct it or repair it. I find holding grudges to be a total waste of energy and I don't have any grudges with Otis. But if someone has one with me and I don't know about or what it is or maybe is, is tough to correct or resolve. I just wish I knew what its all about if it is something on my part. To me Otis is Cowboy family in here. Just as much as Jack, Mr. b and the rest of the posters in here, even Micah who I argue tooth and nail over when it comes to Dak. Look, we all have disagreements with our wives, children, family members and relatives from time to time. But we never hate them for the rest of their lives because we don't agree with them on everything.

Sorry. When you came to sporthoopla before coming here, your screen name was Roadhog Moran and I just assumed you were from there as well. You seemed to know many of the guys at hoopla like I did so I figured you were one of us when the forum got closed down at ESPN. My mistake, I thought I remembered that screen name from ESPN as well. So we go back only to the sportshoopla days. That is still about 11 years. So we do go back a little ways.

Maybe if I understood the joke, I may have gotten it. Still don't get it and I have no idea what that character in his post even means or represents. And no, I have no beef about anything on my end. I just don't understand his responses directed towards me anymore. That's all.

I remember Tupac, but not the other guy. I think that forum only has a handful of posters now. About 8 of them dominate the click.

Dan Quinn will be presenting the best defense he has ever had. I'm predicting this will be the best defense we've ever has since Doomsday II unless the injury bug gets us.

Dan Quinn really seems to be excited about this years defense. He’s pretty much stacked at every position except LB. Micah Parsons will also be playing 10 pounds heavier than last season. It certainly seems that as long as the offense doesn’t **** this up, this team should have a great season. For what it’s worth, I also expect Dak will have a much better season than last season.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
For what it is worth, I do not feel the same way about the offense. Moving forward I do not see any scenario which we improve on last season past the divisional round, making the championship game or even going to a Super bowl without Zack Martin. Really don't care who is at fault here, but not having your best offensive player on the field this season will not only hinder the offense, but the defense as well. After 3 downs and out 6-10 times a game, the defense will eventually break down and get worn out if the offense becomes a liability. After hearing Jerry's comments over the weekend, it appears Jerry doesn't have the temperament for the job anymore. THIS IS NOT GOOD. I'll say it, NO ZACK MARTIN, expectations go way down.

Keep in mind that Zack Martin is under contract. I’m not sure what the daily fine is for not showing up to camp but it’s pretty steep. I seem to remember that the NFL also chances (or added) a rule that teams can no longer waive those fines if the player gets an extension. If Jerry plays hardball and just straight up refused to rework his contract and give him more money Martín is still going to owe the money for those fines. Zack Martin has zero leverage here. If he sits out the season he doesn’t get paid. So it all comes down to how much money is Zack Martin willing to lose?

I heard someone on one of the networks say the fine was $50K.

I'm sure Martin and Jerry are more than aware Zack is under contract. Question is what are they going to do about it. Jerry has a whole resume of screwing up draft picks, trades and bad contracts. Jerry will lose his team before the season even starts if he doesn't do the right thing here.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
I don't watch ESPN all that much, but I'm starting to think some of those sports idiots are right about the Cowboys. What can go wrong, will go wrong. We finally get a championship defense together and then everything else falls apart. Even the kicking game issues from last year have not been addressed.
