Ideally, Lance starts this week (which pretty much insures a loss).

Or… maybe both Lance & Grier get time out there;

I really thought we'd have a top-5 pick next draft.

And we are on an out of character draft bust streak with Mazi and Guyton. This one really needs to hit hard, whoever it is.

And with that…

This damn season is mercifully over.

Let's talk about POSITIVES for this season, I know there aren't many, but we need to know what's good.

-We will likely have a new coaching staff next season
-The emergence of Jalen Tolbert. Very solid WR. I don't think we need to hunt down a #2 for CeeDee
-Dowdle is "solid". The guy certainly isn't an elite runner, but he is "good". I hope we resign him.
-I still really like DaRon Bland, I hope he gets a contract
-We have an elite kicker, which is noteworthy. Kickers are underrated and are always the reason for 2/3 wins or losses each year
-We have an elite return man. No idea what his contract is but I hope is back next season
-Overshown is really good, he just needs to be able to stay healthy.

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. I know the list of negatives is 10x longer unfortunately, but moving forward we REALLY REALLY need to hit on this draft pick. Can't take another Mazi Smith here.

It starts right here and there can be no speculative picks in Rounds 1,2 and 3.
