Thank you so much for your play by play SM. I really appreciated it even though we lost. On the bright side, we really should be 4-2 right now. Lets hope we can rebound against the Vikings going into the bye.
We head out to Philly and NY for division games. Anything can happen. We have a dogfight on our hands.

Well, kneeling would stop the clock on the change of possession giving - thus giving Dallas a theoretical chance to win the game.
I don't really have anything against "running up the score" in NFL games. Everyone is a professional and it's up to the other team to stop you.

At that point in the game it wasn't likely the Cowboys could have caught up to the Pats, so a change in possession wouldn't have mattered. But that all doesn't really matter because they should be focused on fixing the problems in todays game.
Penalties were the biggest problem i think. So many situations where they could have extended drives, or stopped Pats' drives but penalties brought it back.
I didn't like some of the decisions made by Romo as well. I felt he went to Crayton and Hurd a few too many times, when Witten and TO were available down the field. TO could have easily gone over 100 yards with the way he was being covered.
Anyway I think the Cowboys did pretty good considering the problems they had. They were in it for 3 quarters (with a really bad first quarter) and just slipped in the 4th.

Trying to score there is completely legit IMO. Just last week everyone thought the Bills had won the game several times, and in the end they lost. I think that game showed that in the NFL you can never take anything for granted. No way Bellichick was going to take any chances, especially after last week. The Pats do seem to be running up the score on everyone though. Theyre pissed off from the whole "tainted championships" talk.

I totally agree and I was not very happy to see the penalties. I thought we corrected that problem last week, imagine if we had peanalties called on us against the Bills, we wouldn't have won.

A TO blowup could be possible in the future if we continue to lose more games in the future and if Romo continues to ignore him for Hurd or Crayton.
