I'm kind of indifferent about it.

I think Dak is a great QB but at the same time I also feel like his time here has run it's course. But also I know we would suck without him too and I'd rather have false hope than no hope. Much more entertaining and at the end of the day that's the entire point.

I do wonder how much Trey Lance being complete garbage in the preseason kicked this contract into gear.

I think Trey’s play definitely influenced this move. Well either way, like it or not Dak is our guy. Based on what he’s shown us and based on how game 1 went I expect the Cowboys will win another 12 games, challenge for the NFC East title and then flame out in round 1. Dak does still have time to change that but that is the narrative on him.

I’ll enjoy the wins, and root for the team, and have very low expectations for the playoffs.

I think it's time for everyone to start putting the pressure on the defense to get us there. Instead of praying that Dak suddenly turns into Mahomes come playoff time.

Defenses can win championships even with a bad offense. That is what could finally make "this year different"

Hopefully Micah doesn’t fade again towards the end of the season. I will also say that I really like Zimmer as the DC, more so than when we had Quinn.

He’s still trying to find a way to not have the surgery so they haven’t officially said he’s done for the season yet. It’s inevitable though.

Cowboys fans should be looking towards the draft and who’s going to be coaching this team next year at this point.
