I am really hoping for Jeanty as I do think he would have the most immediate impact. Please be there Jeanty. Please be there.

Golden is being overhyped right now because of his 40 time. But he doesn't play nearly as fast as that time (4.29). He's a good #2 WR. But you can find a guy like that on day two of the draft.

If Josh Simmons checks out medically, then he should be the pick for them. He'll likely end up being the best Tackle in this class. His film is that good. He has elite upside.

Jihaad Campbell is the other player the Cowboys should target. He's a stud.

What if Jeanty is not there? There are two teams ahead of the Cowboys that are rumored to want Jeanty (Raiders and Bears) and at least 1 other team that covers Jeanty and could trade up for him (Broncos).

So if Jeanty is not there and trading back is not an option who would you want them to pick?

What if either Mason Graham or Membou magically fall to us?

I think I want line, on either side of the ball.

After Jeanty

CB Will Johnson could work too. Unlike WR, you never have enough elite CBs.

I also really like the idea of trading back and getting another 2nd round pick with a later first.

I like some of the WR’s but I don’t really think any of them are worthy of a #12 pick. Even Tet McMillan has major flaws. Golden would have looked better in college if he didn’t have Quinn Ewers throwing him the ball. I think the best fit for the Cowboys is Emeka Egbuka or Matthew Golden. If Tet is there at #12 I’m seriously looking to trade down.

That’s kind of a pipe dream, neither of those two guys are falling to Dallas. If they did though I would take either in a heartbeat (ahead of Jeanty). Of the two give me Armand Membou.

So realistically who would you pick st 12 if Jeanty is gone (as well as these two).

There is definitely a good chance Will Johnson is there at 12. I think I would still prefer a trade back though if possible. I would take Will Johnson if Jeanty is off the board.

This draft lacks a true top end WR outside of Travis Hunter. That's why I would pass on taking one.

There are bunch of receivers that can be had in the 2nd & 3rd round. Much better value for teams.

I think that *someone* will fall to us. Just like Parsons did. Just like CeeDee did.

I just hope whoever falls is the one we actually need.

The most likely guy to fall is probably Tyler Warren.

If Tyler Warren is there at 12 (which he should be) I wouldn’t call that as him falling. That’s right about where he should be picked (between 10-15). Now if Mason Graham were to make it to 12, that’s falling. Graham won’t be there at 12 though.

I’d say the guys that are projected as top 10 but could “fall” to 12 (in my opinion) would be WR Tet McMillan, CB Will Johnson, QB Shedeur Sanders, Edge Jalon Walker, or OT Will Campbell. Those are all guys that are projected top 10 picks but could fall to 12.

Of those guys Dallas should draft CB Will Johnson, Edge Jalon Walker, or OT Will Campbell. They will likely draft WR Tet McMillan though.

Walker & Campbell will get taken early (top 10).

Walker's floor is pick 8 (Carolina). That's what McShay said in his latest podcast. Teams love him. He's not falling out of the top 10 based on what he's hearing.

Will Johnson should still be on the board at 12. Based on his play this past season. Same with Tet McMillan. Shedeur could also fall if teams like the Jets & Saints pass on him.

But again, if I was Dallas, I would go in a completely different direction. Either target a Tackle (Simmons or Banks) or a guy with huge upside like Jihaad Campbell.

Warren would be the easy choice.

Hard to say. But I think he's going to be a special player as an inside LB.

I’ve seen him mocked all over the 1st round. Even saw one that had him falling to the Cowboys in Round 2 (won’t happen though). Have to say that I wouldn’t be mad all if the Cowboys walked away from the first three rounds with.. WR Tet McMillan, MLB Jihaad Campbell, and RB Quinshon Judkins.

lol yeah, well he's not falling out of the first round. He's pretty much a lock to go somewhere in the first 20 picks.

Yea he’s not falling that far. I’d be just as happy with.. WR Tet McMillan, RB TreVeyon Henderson, and DT Deone Walker after 3 rounds.

If you want to be the Bengals 2.0, then go for it!

I just have a really hard time taking a receiver early unless he's an absolute game changer.

I still think building from the inside-out is the winning formula.

The Bengals have probably the best WR corps in the NFL. You’re right who wants that? Lol

In all seriousness the Cowboys NEED a legit #2 WR. I would personally prefer they trade down to around pick 20 and then draft a WR but by all accounts Tet should be a star WR. His “type” of WR should fit perfect opposite CeeDee. I still prefer Golden or Egbuka but Tet would do more than just fine.

Also I would prefer going OL with pick #12 but again they are in desperate need of a legit #2 WR. Round 2 and 3 picks should be spent on RB and DL, not necessarily in that order.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
