we have 3 of them in round 6. I guess we also get a 4th. made up for the 4th and 6th we lost last year with Cassell and Micheal.

I still think Myles Jack and Deforest Buckner are the best super star talents in the top 8. Plus, they are also immediate starters and impact players from day one. Oh, nd Dt and Lb are still major weak spots for us.

They actually have four 6th rounders don't they?

One of the 4 Comp. picks is a 4th rounder to my knowledge.

We can always use all these comp picks as leverage in case we need to do some maneuvering in rounds 2 and 3.

We did an extra 4th too. The rule on trading comp picks doesn't kick in until next year though. This is the final year where comp picks cannot be traded.

Don't we also get a 2nd or 3ird round tender if someone picks up Leary? We can always use all those 6 round comp picks for CB's or safeties. We might get lucky and find a much needed gem or two.

The Cowboys put a 2nd round tender on Leary so any team that signs him we would get their 2nd round pick. Because of that I doubt any team signs him. That's still not a bad price tag for a backup guard of Leary's caliber. I think he would seriously upgrade Tennessee's OL, especially if they drafted Tunsil. I think in that situation Leary would be a Pro Bowler. I can see why they wouldn't want to give up their 2nd rounder though since it's basically a 1st round pick.

Looks like San Diego is showing its hand. They want Jalen Ramsey with #1 pick, sources are revealing.

I would love that. I do not want the Cowboys to take him.

Well, we just signed RB, Alfred Morris from the Redskins and DL, Benson Mayowa from Raiders. Both are excellent pick ups for us imo. Looks like we may be showing our hand a bit. With the signing of Morris, I hope this take Elliot out of the mix. Don't like him and don't want him. Will I finally get what I want after 4 years, a DT or perhaps the LB I've been on my knees, begging for. I'm now afraid we might take a QB, and that sickens me. Oh, but Mr. B will be happy though.

It would be pretty interesting if Lynch fell to the Cowboys in the second round.

I hope CBS mock draft is wrong. We don't need another junkie assed party animal like Bosa or his party animal roommate, RB Elliot, that likes to do molly.

As much as I like Elliott and think he could end up with a HOF career if drafted by Dallas, I have to agree. This team doesn't need anymore questionable players.

So the Titans want Ramsey. Cleveland just signs RG Knee (Ha Ha). So with them losing Mack, I bet the Browns take Tunsel. So what does San Diego plan on doing? That's my current million dollar question. If they take Deforest Buckner, I hope we trade back. I'm willing to bet the 49ers will be one of the teams wanting to move up for either Goff or Wentz. I'm thinking it might be Goff, due to him playing at California, but who knows. So that would move us back to the 7th pick and I really don't believe Buckner will fall that far. I think we are in a great spot for someone to offer us up the farm for our pick. Still think the Rams are players as well. There are also some rumors that the Egals, behind closed doors want either Goff or Wentz, but I can't see us doing anything with them. So on this day, I'm excited for the first time in years that we could get the player I really want most, Deforset Buckner. I have the strangest feeling someone is going to come around and make us an offer we can't refuse. Tough choice to make when you know you could be getting a player like Buckner, that would be a cornerstone of your D-line for years, for a chance gaining an extra pick on another hit or miss player.

I've been running through a few draft scenarios myself. If the Titans do draft Ramsey at 1 and the Browns do take Tunsil it's very possible the Charges draft Bosa or Buckner. That would leave both Wentz and Goff on the board at 4.

I would immediately be on the phone with the Niners advising them that if they want Goff they will need to make a trade because if they don't then we are taking Goff. Make the trade and get their 2nd round pick. Then at 7 draft the best available DL. If it's Bosa take him, if it's Buckner take him. Then with the extra pick trade back up in the bottom of the 1st and draft Paxton Lynch.

I don't see the Eagles being able to trade up further unless they are willing to give up next year's 1st. I don't think they have a 2nd round pick this year.

I would be absolutely floored if they were able to make the trade with San Fran and get their 2nd just to turn around and make a trade with the Eagles (telling them we're taking Wentz if they don't trade) getting their 1st (or 2nd) next year. In that scenario they would walk away with Bosa or Buckner, Lynch, and Philly's 1st next year.

But I can see the Egals making a deal with the Browns now. Egals get their QB and Cleveland slides back to #8 and gains a much needed extra pick. But I also see Cleveland saying the hell with you all, and just take Tonsil with their pick to replace Mack that they lost in free agency. RG knee has to have some help.

Keep in mind the Eagles do not have a 2nd round pick this year. They are going to really have to lift their skirt and spread their cheeks if they want to move from 8 to 1. I'm talking similar to Washington did when they traded for the rights to draft RGIII.

Ahh, that changes things. I did not know that. Unless Bradford is part of the deal, I don't see the Egals moving up. So unless the 49ers or Rams make a move, it looks as of this moment, the best play is to stay at #4 and get an immediate impact starter.
