3 for $18

Wow. So, he'd essentially be going from a 16m/y player to 6m/y.

My gut is telling me there is no way Dez will take a big pay cut.

I'm think dez restructures his contract to get more of a signing bonus, help with the cap. I also think we trade up to whoever is at 14 and get Ridley.

Couldn't afford what he got anyway on either him or Watkins. Hello draft.

At $9M a year... no way were we going to keep him.

Hello draft.

Wanted us to focus on receivers on draft but now we have to worry a out MLB.
What are your thoughts on Celek? Eagles just released him. Love Witten but he has been on the decline.

I would like to see what Rico Gathers could do in the preseason. Give him some extended time there and then perhaps look next offseason if they're not satisfied.

Just read on sporting news that Suh would be a good fit for Dallas. He would have to take a whole lot less money but it could be worth it. I just don't remember if he was antic free last season.

Here's a thought on Witten...

If I were him, I would be listening real close to this Fox offer to do TNF. I think he would be damn good at it (anyone here who has heard his weekly radio show during the season knows he is very articulate and would be an excellent fit).

I'd be willing to take a flyer on Celek if that happened. I talk with Eagles fans all the time. He's not going to be a blocker. But if he can give you 40-50 catches, why not? As far as Gathers, I need to see it. As an old radio guy here used to say... his actions are so loud I can't hear what he's saying.

It was no secret that we were going to lose Hitchens. He was going to be the odd man out with the Lawrence / Irving mix. I'm just surprised he got $9M a season.

I would LOVE to get him in here. But I cannot believe there isn't a big paycheck out there for him somewhere. As far as "antics", I don't recall anything either. I did read somewhere though that Miami is trying to clear out some "attitudes" from their locker room and Suh was in that list of 2-3 players they just wanted gone (wish I could find that article...)

Dude's a stud. I just don't see it here.

Once Suh was released I immediately thought about the boys going after. Dallas is no stranger when it comes to picking up players that have issues. Lol. Regardless, I still think he has some left in the tank and could compliment Irving.

If jordy Nelson is healthy it would be nice for the boys to really consider now that the pack released him.
This way it would be one less receiver to worry about in the draft and maybe trade up for Smith or edmunds.

I just wonder how much he has left in the tank... he's been hurt a LOT the last few seasons.

Lol. I'd still take him over our receivers. That's how bad it is. Dak needs more passing threats. And Jordy is still a threat.

Stewart to the Giants, Johnson to the Jets, Graham to the Packers, today has been crazy. Meanwhile, we still sit and wait.

Here's a name that hasn't been mentioned much but what do you guys think of Tyler Eifert? Witten won't play forever and considering Eifert's injury history I doubt he gets a huge deal. Gathers at this point is a mystery. Also after seeing what Watkins and Robinson got in free agency I doubt Dez takes a cut too.

With receivers going to teams ahead of us in the draft, might be a chance we land Ridley or Moore. Just might.
Still early though official FA doesn't start till tomorrow. Think the boys will make a move here and there but nothing sexy. I'm not expecting a splash. We need a good draft.
