Dak franchised. Cooper now a free agent despite giving up a first round draft choice for. We have the worst front office since 2002. Why is 2002 so important. Let's see, ....................... hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, .....................

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
That’s a lot of money! From my understanding the bulk of the guaranteed money will be paid in the first 3 years. So it’s essentially a 3 year contract. I’m ok with that. Dak isn’t going anywhere with the tag on him. So the Cowboys now need to get Quinn and Sean Lee signee. That would then allow them to focus on the defense in the draft.

Quinn has gone to The Bears. I wish we wouldn't have re-signed Sean Lee.

Looks like Cowboys are trying hard to bring Emmanual Sanders our way. I hope its a friendly contract. Cooper, Gallup and sanders sounds pretty damn good !! Maybe this is why Zek is re-doing his contract to free up some money.

I’m actually ok with bringing Lee back as the primary backup to Jaylon and LVE. As for Quinn, there is no way they would have been able to pay him that much. The guy to keep an eye on is Clowney. He wants to be the highest paid DE in the NFL. He problem is he hasn’t produced like the best DE in the league and we are approaching week 2 of free agency. He may be forced to sign a 1 year deal, that’s when I expect the Cowboys to be players for him.
Sanders would be an upgrade over Cobb. I’m f the Cowboys sign him to be their #3 WR teams are going to have fits with this offense. Cooper, Gallup, and Sanders can all play outside or in the slot. Also Zeke and Pollard can both line up in the backfield or also line up in the slot. The offense should be extremely fun to watch this year.

I don't disagree with hardly anything you said. I actually agree for the most part. 'm just tired of watching Sean Lee try and cover RB's out of the backfield.

I definitely get that about Lee. He did a great job this year though once LVE went down. It looks like the Cowboys signed Ha-Ha Clinton Dix too. I don’t mind Lee as a backup but this defense is starting to look old. If this is the way they are going to go in free agency they need to focus the end tire draft to the defensive side of the ball.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
I know you know how many years I've been begging the Cowboys to go all out on defense. From what I have been hearing Stephen wants to do that this year. I can see the Cowboys going all out on defense this year outside a possible WR and TE for the offense. Especially if things don't work out with E. Sanders.

Sanders signed a 2 year deal with New Orleans. So there is definitely a chance they draft a WR. I also would not be surprised if they gave Dez a shot to come back and be the 3rd or 4th WR. But I also do agree that this draft will be focused mostly on defense.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
I'm not sure how I feel about Dez possibly being back. He would have to show me he has changed a whole lot for the cancer he was. nevertheless, I'm trying really hard to be extremely positive going into this season now that my 4 year tolerance and depression is finally over in getting rid of Dez, Romo, Witten and Carrot Top. I have very high expectations this year !!

As long as I’ve known you.
They are getting near to signing Dontari Poe. He’s not the player he once was but still pretty productive against the run. He’s that big fat guy in the middle of the defense we have all been begging them to add. He’s not the long term answer but he should definitely help this year.

Good call on Poe. I hope it works out. I see we also signed a really good blocking TE. Can't remember his name off the top of my head. Should be a lot better in the running game. Witten wasn't much use in that Dept.

Yea the TE came from the Chiefs. They’ve done a good job of filling out their roster so that when they go in the draft they can focus on taking the best player available.

Any inside info regarding daks' contract? Been hearing they have talks this week however, not revealing much. How much do you think we are going to end up paying him?
