That seems like a steep price.

Especially because this team is more than 1 player away from being any good.

Yea now the players are coming out and talking about how bad this coaching staff is.

Yet Jerry is still being all nonchalant about how bad this team is. Jerry almost sounds giddy when he’s being interviewed. As if this was his plan all along.

I suspect he’s purposely tanking the season. Not MM and his staff, just the Jones’.

Well Mr. B., Look what we now have after 18 years of GM Jerry Jones. Nice looking product we have out there, don't we? Nothing has changed in 18 years. We are a total mess from owner, front office and downward. Many of us, including me stated and said this once very proud and traditional franchise would never get a whiff of the Super bowl again as long as Jerry and his family owned the team. Jerry and his ego is almost a spitting image of Donald Trump and his current administration. Its all about him, its all about his way, I get all the credit, etc., etc.,
I don't even recognize this team and franchise anymore. Its not us. Its not the way we did things. Its not the way we played and prepared. Its not the Cowboy way we grew up and got used to. I mean we were real bad even before Dak went down, but what is going on now is way beyond pathetic and embarrassing. We don't look like Cowboys anymore and for sure, we don't play like Cowboys anymore. I was actually ashamed when Dalton got that cheap shot and knocked out of the game, not one teammate went after him. Not one. Everyone just stood there. Never seen that before in the pre Jerry Jones era. If that had happened back in the 60's, 70's and 80's, there would have been total hell to pay despite the score. This used to be the biggest rivalry in all of sports for decades and just doesn't have that feel anymore. If that happened back in the Lilly and Randy White era's, and they tried or cheap shotted Staubach like that, well, I can just picture Randy White going after all the lineman by himself and ripping their helmets off and taking the whole team on. If I remember correctly, I believe the only game in NFL history that was called with still time on the clock was a game between the Cowboys and Redskins in the 80's.
Nevertheless, we have lost our way as a franchise under the Jerry Jones umbrella. We are no longer the proudest, the most successful, most respected, one of the most feared, most transformal that was born and introduced to the NFL in 1960. We are now the laughing stock of today's current NFL Jets, Jaguars, Browns, Lions, Bengals, etc., and to be honest, i think all of those teams are better than us. Oh yea, one more thing. McCarthy and Noland suck big time. There was a reason why Nolan couldn't get a job after his wonderful performance in Atlanta.

This team is terrible and it definitely starts at the top. The unfortunate part is that I don’t see any changes coming. Jerry and Stephen spent all last week defending their coaches and defending the players effort.

I hope so but I doubt it. There are a handful of other players I’d like to see them trade.

Doesn't matter. I'm no longer waiting around for Jerry to rebuild for another 18 years. Done. **** done.

Dallas has plenty of talent offensively although the Zeke contract looks terrible.

Just tank this year, get a great defensive player through the draft and change the DC. It isn't rocket science what the Cowboys need to do this season.

I would ask for a 4th or a 5th for Aldon Smith.

I think a 5th is likely best case scenario. He's a free agent.

haven't looked to be honest, the CFB season hasn't been very interesting so far. I'll leave it to the staff to figure this one out.

Mr. B, you know I have been screaming for defense for 6 years now. Especially DT and LB. In this case, I start by either trading or getting rid of both Elliot and Cooper and those over priced contracts. I haven't made up my mind yet on what to do with Dak. I rebuild the OL and DL and find another RB. If we don't keep Dak, we will all have a different approach on priorities.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
