Appears Terance Steele's Knee is recovering slowly and may impact his ability to get his starting job back. Some are saying it will take another year for a full recovery like what is going on with Michael Gallup. This could be a serious issue.

Also hearing Deuce Vaughn is being predicted to be the next version of Darren Sproules. Sounds like he is impressing some folks.

So far all signs seem to be all systems go. But I agree with what is being said about the RB depth on the Cowboys. If Tony is not fully recovered or gets hurt again the Cowboys might have a serious problem. I'm not a fan of Ronald Jones and have some concerns with Malik Davis. All of our backs are small so durability is something I worry about.

Ronald Jones is the backup? Yeah, I would agree. That would be concerning.

Alright, what's the roster outlook? Any concerns? Weaknesses? Other than QB of course.

I have 3 major concerns that are the weaknesses of this team. Concerns on defense, none. Offense we have 2, Dak Prescott and McCarthy. And for 27 years and running, Jerry is still a major weakness. OL might be a concern with what I am hearing about Steele's recovery from knee surgery.

No. We have no head coach or QB. Defense is loaded. No issue there unless McCarthy and Dumb Dak turn the ball over in their own end, have turnovers or throw pick sixes like they have a habit of doing. Can't be a championship team regardless of the tons of talent they currently have when you have 12 penalties a game vs. the best team in the league on top of the other issues I just mentioned.

$30M is the market. You may not like the market but it is what it is, Sparky.

Based on numbers and production I would put CeeDee somewhere between 3-4 on this list.

I don’t think Ronald Jones makes the final roster.

TonyPollard
Duece Vaughn
Malik Davis
Hunter Luepke
Rico Dowdle

I think that will be the RB room for this season. There has still been a lot of talk about Zeke coming back on a minimum contract but I think that only happens if there is a major injury. I think Vaughn and Luepke are going to really surprise some people.

Depth at LB is a concern.

Isn't Luepke a FB?

Vaughn's story is interesting. But he's more of a receiving/3rd down back.

The other names I don't recognize. But based off that list, I would be slightly worried. Especially if Pollard can't go.

Dalvin Cook or Kareem Hunt are much better options.

Dalvin Cook would eat behind that line. If I'm Jerry, I'm getting him on a plane to Dallas ASAP!!

I'm surprised he hasn't signed with anyone yet.

Jerry's MO has always been all in. Its almost time for Jerry to step in. He's been too quiet for too long.

Cowboys have over $20 mill in cap space. A move like this along with another FA LB and there could be real Doomsday in Dallas this year.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
