Re: State of Cowboys Union?
I'm not giving Dak excuses either. But on the opposite end of the spectrum if he plays well it's time for both of you (and everyone else) to do the right thing.
I will say that if the team loses in spite of Dak playing well (like Romo vs Green Bay) that could and should be used to excuse Dak.
The winner of this game isn't determined by JUST Dak, he can only control so much.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
Dude. Please get over yourself with this Romo **** crap while I still like you. It will never work. I will NEVER give Romo credit nor ever change my mind about him. The only credit I will give Romo is he is nothing but a classic choker. I hate the guy and ashamed he ever put on a Cowboy uniform, especially after his interview when we lost the division to the Redskins that cost us another playoff birth. Get over it and move on. We just agree to disagree. People and other Cowboy fans have been trying to convince me otherwise for 12 years and all it does is make me hate him worse. Talking about and listening to posters defending Romo makes me want to leave this site and go somewhere else. The thing that irritates me the most chatting with the younger generation fans is they don't get it when it comes to putting a championship team together. Your obviously happy just making the playoffs once in a while and getting booted out of the playoffs early. Not a standard the real America's Team fans ever accepted and had to deal with when we built this team from scratch. We didn't even have a draft in our first year in 1960. Started from scratch and 5 years later went to back to back NFL Championship games and were on our way from there. You guys are still rebuilding after 26 years and seem to be happy with it. And in response to your last sentence, in case you haven't noticed the QB position is the most important position in all of sports. How Dak controls the game from his position will be a huge determining factor on whether we win or lose this game and going forward. Unfortunately we don't have Roger "The Dodger" Staubach as our QB in this game otherwise I'd be telling you right now that we are the favorites to win it all hands down.

And I answered your question the other day in a previous post. I'm not giving Dak any credit till it is deserved. I'm with Mr. B and Otis on this one and have been for almost a decade now. NFC Championship or bust. Your asking us to give Dak credit for something he hasn't done yet. He needs to prove himself in these next two games and win them plain and simple.

One of my biggest concerns going into today's game is our physicality. We MUST match the Whiners physicality and impose our will at he very start or we could be in serious trouble.

This is what I mean when I say it doesn’t matter how good you are in the regular season, you’re legacy (especially as a Dallas Cowboys starting QB) your legacy is determined by what you do in the playoffs. Dak **** the bed today. In all fairness the entire offense **** the bed. But Dak is the leader of the offense. He’s the one that makes the team go and he looked like **** today.
Now he’s young and still has time but these windows don’t stay open very long and he missed a HUGE opportunity today.

Time is running out for Jerry Jones.
He's getting old and if Dak doesn't get to the Super Bowl within the next 2 seasons, I don't think Jerry will witness another Cowboys appearance in the Super Bowl.

Dak is not getting us anywhere. He's not the guy. Way over paid. The only two other QB's that make over 40 million a year moved on. Dak is the only one that didn't. He sucks. He's not a leader and like I said a few days ago, he's dumber than a box of rocks. We are going no where with Sak Prescott as our QB. By the way, Mike McCarthy sucks just as bad. When was the last time we've seen a team so utterly unprepared and ready for a playoff game. Oh yeh, when Tony Homo was QB. And Another thing, anyone that wants Kellen Moore can have him. What an over rated piece of ****. Once defensive coordinators finally caught on to his way of thinking and play calling, he had no answer for anything. And don't get me started with Elliott. I wanted to get rid of his ass two years ago but we can't because of another stupid contract on Jerry's part. Elliott is done. He's cashed. There is nothing fuc...g left in the tank. The molly and partying has taken its toll and Zeke is nothing but a liability now. Really nice of Cooper and Lamb to step up yesterday as well. This team is no where as stable and good enough for the next level. Wouldn't be surprised if this team doesn't even make the playoffs next year.

That’s why he’s so frustrated, he knows that. He has honestly done everything he could to put a winning team on the field. He held up his end of the bargain but unfortunately the HC and players didn’t.

And us older Cowboy fans have been saying this for over a decade. As long as Jerry is GM and Owner, we will never touch another Super Bowl.

Re: State of Cowboys Union?
I hope we don't resign Aamari Cooper. He is not worth 21 million a year for a guy that doesn't show up every week and only had 2 catches in Sunday's game. of course Lamb only had one so what the ****, right. Gregory is not worth resigning, I never wanted him anyway and I don't want a guy that that is getting payed his kind of money when he can't even line up on the right side of the ball in a big game. I just wish there is a way we could get rid of Elliot. Nothing will ever get better with him and if he is our RB next season, I can't see the Cowboys even making the playoffs. All Elliot cares about is his partying, doing molly, figuring out how many nose rings to have next season, whats my hair going to look like and getting his dick sucked.

Overreaction. That division is still garbage. The Giants are a mess. Washington still doesn't have a QB. Jalen Hurts isn't that guy. You know this to be true.

Cowboys have some serious decisions to make that will hugely impact their salary cap going into next season. NFC east is not that good but I will go on record and say that will not be as good next year as they were this year. If your senario stays true, it will be another one and done. Its not an overreaction. Cowboys are not that good.

Agreed. Until someone dislodges them in this sorry division, it’s the Cowboys. Eagles are close but even the most hard core Eagles fans I know agree that Hurts has “limitations”. Giants are an utter mess and WTF has some good players and a bunch of baggage. I agree with BJJ to a point about some changes that are coming but the core is still decent enough. And I’ll take Will McClay and his personnel expertise over Howie in Philly and whoever the hell is running things in NY & Washington.

Well let’s see, he put a good OL to protect Dak, he drafted and traded for elite WR’s, developed a very good TE, hired probably the best DC on the market. Spent almost an entire draft rebuilding the defense (which finished top 10). Even brought in a ST coach that broke a Cowboys record for blocked kicks.
You’re saying that’s nothing? It’s not Jerry’s fault the players failed him. He literally has done everything he could do.
And don’t try and say he won’t fire himself as GM because realistically he’s been the GM in name only for about 5 years now. Will McClay (who Jerry just resigned) has been the GM since basically the Travis Fredrick draft. Jerry is just the front man, McClay does all the actual work of the GM.
