Cowboys say no room on the depth chart to try and sign Nick Foles.

Don't they mean there's no room on the salary cap to sign Nick Foles?

Seems there are two guys that are total dipshits they could cut. Jerry said in the PC that he made the mistake of waiting for guys to come back last year and he's not making that mistake again, yet he still has to idiots on the team that won't even play this year.

Link - Cowboys DeMarcus Lawrence on suspension: "I messed up."
http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2016/07/31/cowboys-demarcus-lawrence-suspension-messed?f=r

"My disappointment, it's on me," Lawrence said. "I messed up. I learn from my mistakes and I just have to move on and get everything right."

Dude was suspended 3 times in college and now gets a 4 game suspension which means he has failed multiple tests since turning pro.

Color me skeptical.

Don't know what you guys think, but Tony Romo looks very heavy coming into training camp. Don't care how the Cowboys spin it, Romo is more than 230 lbs. I would think if anyone would be serious about being in the best shape possible would be Romo and Witten, seeing's how they may have only a couple shots left to make it some where. That's the one thing that has always bothered me about Romo over the years. The hat on backwards guy. Casual to detail and his ho-hum approach and attitude. IMHO, it goes to over all leadership qualities. But we all know who really leads this team.

Don't trust everything the national leering press says BJJ.

Sources: 'Purple drank' addiction, NFL drug policy cloud LB Rolando McClain's future with Cowboys

http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2016/08/02/sources-codeine-addiction-nfl-drug-policy-cloud-lb-rolando-mcclains-future-cowboys

And - this from the article...

"The Cowboys' starting middle linebacker is in Stage 3 -- the final stage -- of the NFL's substance abuse policy. If he's been told to enter a treatment facility and doesn't comply, he faces a minimum one-year ban from the NFL."

I got nothing.

Kellen Moore was just carted off the field with a broken right ankle.

What was Nick Foles' number again?

Always hate to see someone get hurt but thank God he won't be the backup this year.

Looking at him practicing he doesn't look any bigger than he normally does. At least not outside the normal weight you would gain with getting older. He's pretty much always had a "dad bod" so I don't see anything to be concerned about as far as his weight is concerned.

The national leering press has been making note of Jon Machota's picture. As you know being local, it got less than a blip here.

Non-story which will be rendered meaningless now that we need a backup QB.

Yea, it's definitely a non-story.

The defense is a much bigger (and valid) story, and now the backup QB spot.

You guys think they'll actually go after Foles? If not who else is out there? I'm interested to see what Showers has.

They absolutely cannot go into the season with Prescott and Showers as the backups. Just cannot. If last season should have taught them anything, not having a even marginally decent backup QB is suicide.

Yea I saw that too. You would think it would give them a leg up on signing Foles but it's all going to come down to money and cap space.

I'm almost at the point that I really don't care anymore. I'm disgusted with Jerry's world. I already have drafted 20 fantasy teams and plan on drafting a **** load more to keep me occupied and help me survive the up coming season.

Yep. Which is why I get the sense someone like Josh McCown may be considered although I DO NOT wish to give up any more draft picks like we did for Cassel.

I have a bad feeling they will trade for that other Detroit QB Shaun Hill (I think that's his name). He's another Linehan guy.

Pretty certain I'd join BJJ and lose my mind.

Nick Foles has agreed to terms to join the Chiefs, source says. Reunion with Andy Reid.

I'm about ready to check myself in a mental health ward. Hey roadhaod. You posted somewhere a few weeks ago about things being quiet.

I have a bad feeling they are going to give up a 5th for Shaun Hill.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
