That was a bad loss. One that could come back and bite us in the ass down the road.

Marinelli's unit **** the bed too. His bend but don't break defense gets consistently bitchslapped up and down the field. I really think it's time for this entire coaching staff to go. Go get Harbaugh while Dak is still young enough to grow with him.

One other thing...

I don’t know who owns the title of “Best Offensive Line in the NFL”... but it ain’t in Dallas.

Definitely not. They're the primary cause for the offensive's inconsistency this year. Dak has had to run for his s life and there haven't been as many holes opened for Zeke. They really need to consider drafting a RT so that they can move Colin's back to LG.

I agree...but just have to vent and say, I MISS TONY ROMO. I'm sure I had similar thoughts, screaming that I missed Quincy Carter some Monday morning about 10 years ago following some loss...

Agree on all points. I had a sense the Rams could be a let down game, but not the way it happened with a comeback.

The o-line has to want it and go out and kick some butt.

With the Packers coming up, this is a statement game opportunity for the Cowboys. I'm not optimistic about this game. I'm excited to see Irving return but imagine he'll need time to get up to speed.

Next week, Eagles will likely beat the Cardinals and move to 4-1. Redskins will likely lose tonight 2-2.

If Cowboys lose to the Packers and go to 2-3, they'll need to beat the Eagles twice. Bring it!

I realize that the Packers game isn't a "Must Win" situation... but the prospect of going into the Bye at 2-3 is not a pleasant one. Nor should it be. The Offense needs to get head-right-with-ball and get back to the ball-control game that made them a success last year. Which means the Offensive Line better get it together and Dak needs to start finding Beasley & Witten - even if that means Dez is the #3 option.

I only watched the first quarter-ish and saw the result, but 'Skins played well against a tough Chiefs team.

As of today, Skins (and Eagles) are the team to beat in this division. Not saying the Cowboys won't be the team to beat by the end of the season but the o-line needs to improve and the defense needs to make tackles.

Chatter is Lee "may" not be available for GB. That won't help much. Getting picked apart by Siemian and Goff is one thing. Those guys aren't named Aaron Rodgers. So yes - the O-Line needs to improve. In a hurry.

Rodgers has to be licking his chops at the thought of getting to throw against the Cowboys secondary.

Don't miss Sean Lee's inability however to cover backs out of the backfield.

In the end, another "Can't stay healthy" cat. Guess we'll never know what he actually has.

On the bright side, clears a spot for Irving.

Definitely makes that decision a simple one.

Hopefully we can score a lot of points this weeks because I fully expect Aaron Rogers to pick apart our defense. If there is one game we have to play keep away, it is this one.

On offense I think the key is as simple as winning in 1st down. If they can average 5+ yards on 1st down that would increase their % of being in 3rd and short. That would increase their % of converting 3rd downs. By extending drives that keeps Rodgers off the field. That’s the best defense they can play.

When their defense is on the field though, I have a feeling it’s going to get ugly. If they can’t generate a consistent pass rush they’re F’d! If Rodgers had time to sit back and go threw all his reads and throw to whoever he wants to he is going to scorch our secondary.

Hopefully Irving will be an asset and I'm not sure if Sea Lee will be back. We also need Scandrick back and healthy.

Lee is out. Hitchens and Scandrick are playing. And you’re right hopefully he can make an impact. Last I heard (on Friday) is that Paea will likely be out so Irving will be playing mostly DT next to Collins.

Looks like we may be in for a very long year my friend.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
