Thats what i was sort of thinking. Plus its in St Louis so that helps a little.

Some more good news about the Rams,
"There is an outside chance, I think very outside,' but I don't want to determine that until we find out,'' Linehan said. Jackson did some light running in practice last week, but it would be a major surprise to see him suit up against Seattle. He is making progress, however.

I doubt he'll play this week but that news does give hope he'll play against the Browns.

Bulger will play this week, Idno if thats really a good idea but we'll see how he performs and maybe that will give an indication of how he can do the week after (against the Browns).

I think Bruce should be back by then too.

With Bruce, Hall, Bulger and Jackson all possibly back that game looks a lot better for our chances of the Browns losing.

To be honest, trading the 22nd pick for around a 15th pick along with a 2nd rounder was a good deal for you. But I guess you guys thought you were getting something top 5, it's still possible, but pretty unlikely.

Who knew they would find a QB? That is, who would be any good this season?

They can easily go 9-7 or even 10-6. That is a relative soft schedule.

They just make me so mad. Who the hell is Derek Anderson, and why did he decide to start playing so well?

How much will Cleveland get for Quinn when (if) they trade him?

yep. it will turn out to be a good trade for the cowboys. im sure most we're expecting a top 5 pick after the pittsburgh game (i know i was dreading it), but getting a mid-round pick (hopefully) will still be a good thing for you guys going forward

Hey, 2 first rounder is still good for us. Of course, last time we did that we got Ware and Spears. I guess it's hard to screw up twice in the first round. Too bad we didn't have another 1st rounder when we picked Bobby. :-(

Big Ben does DAL a favor and comes back from like 28-0 to lead PIT to a 31-28 win

still, looking like a #20 overall

Just for fun, I googled to find some 2008 NFL Mock Drafts. Found one...walterfootball.com.

Anyways, they have the Cowboys taking James Hardy, the wide receiver from Indiana at #24 with the Browns pick.

They have us taking DeJuan Tribble, the DB from Boston College.

Again, it is WAY too early to look at mocks, but it was interesting.

Cleveland is the buffalo of 2004. That is when a crappy team trades their 1st for a 1st the next year, then they have a relatively great year, screwing up the team with thier first. Oh wait, that was the Marcus Spears pick, which has sucked anyway. Unstickied now that if the browns lose their remaining games, this pick is about 15.
