Top money is the problem.
Dez might reconsider and work a discount to stay in Dallas but I'm thinking his new council will be all about top dollar.

That was kinda the kicker for me ..changing agents.

Nobody owes anybody anything. But the Cowboys and Jerry in particular in my eyes went the extra mile for Dez on a number of occasions with his numerous of the field issues. ...did we not get a chaperone for him at 1 time or something? and yes I think dez had to pay for it.

Nobody is saying he should give the store away for that ...but if he is going to let his team play hardball for every nickle? .... Ba Buy.

Honestly ...I don't even know how to respond to that. In sure Jerry Rice had the same deal.

He needs to pick it up some or he may get the tag. I said it yesterday. He is 38th in yards after catch and that is in 9 games. Many have played just 8.

Might not be a bad thing with the YAC .... when Dez fights for yards he tends to fumble .... Murray seems to have that same problem

Yep. Many of Murrays fumbles are when he's all but stopped and he refuses to go down. He could be sitting with 10 less yards and 5 less fumbles.

Stud WRs get mega contracts in the NFL and Dez will be no different. The Cowboys aren't forced to give him a huge contract, but SOMEONE WILL. This team can't succeed with an aging Witten alongside T Will and our other WRs. But, that doesn't mean we don't let Dez go and sign someone else a little cheaper or go the draft pick route. He drops some balls, but he offsets that by catching balls he has no right catching. I'm torn on what I'd do if he really pushes the envelope on the $'s, but I don't think there is any question whatsoever what the team (JERRY) will do and Dez will be here next year...

I would have no doubt where Jerry goes with this ....but Dez's change to Roc Nation just might stick in his craw.

Jerry has shown he is willing to use the tag. Which is quite likely. It would be 12.5 million next year and would give Dez plenty of reason to accept a smaller deal. Thats Brandon Marshall money. and about fair value for Dez.

Contract or tag I wouldn't go any higher ...... and if he still wont sign the tag and trade option is there. Im not for just letting him walk and us get nothing either

To not re-sign Dez would be a mistake IMO. If the Cowboys chose to let him walk they better have a hell of a back up plan. Look at Dez's numbers and tell me he doesn't deserve to be paid among the top 5 wr's.

bottom of the top 5 Id agree.... Which is Brandon Marshall money 12-13 million a year ..... not 15 million and DAMN SURE not 17 million that CJ is getting

But Dez all ready came out as saying he's gonna be PISSED if Jerry tags him. We'll see how this unfolds. Im sure Dez is asking for 100 million. Do they lose Murray if Dez gets a Mega Deal? It will be interesting to see how Jerry manages all this and what he decides to do. Time will tell.

PISSED? Really? I have not seen that statement. He has said he'd be "highly disappointed". Personally I don't see how that can be interpreted as PISSED. Funny if we overstate any thing about the Eagles your up in arms. Two way street dude.
