good news this week during our bye week

Post#1 » by Schmoopy1000 » Mon Nov 17, 2014 3:36 am

even though the boys didn't play we gained on all three NFC EAST teams (& some NFC playoff contenders)

NFC EAST 0-3 this week :P

Add in losses from the hawks, Lions, & Saints. not a bad present for our team on the bye week

lol
do the and1's do something?

Saw someone asking for some. Is it some kind of ranking thing or is it just like a like button?

Pretty good week to say the least for a bye week. About as good as you can ask for. The best part is reading what Washington fans have to say now. I'm sure we all remember not even two years ago it was fear RG3 for the next 10 years and now they want the boy gone. There were supposedly even "We Want Colt" chants at the game yesterday. Funny stuff indeed.

It amazed me how TB went in there and kicked the **** out out them but Washington beat us at our place. Just my opinion they hold all bragging rights at the moment. Not only did they beat us , they hurt our QB and knocked him out a week.

Your forgetting another huge benefit of being off this week.

Our doc's were not checked for prescribing drugs illegally.

2 years of having no #1 draft choices for Taking RGIII and Cousins. They sure screwed up putting all their eggs on the table for those 2 qb's. It might take them another 8 years to dig out of this hole. lmao.

Well considering these teams have a history of splitting games I have a strong belief we will even the score. Only way I see Dallas losing both Skin games is if we somehow make week 17 meaningless.

I just think the Skin game will hurt us down the road. It's easy to say, but I think we drill Arizona with Romo. Whether it cost us the playoffs or not still is up in the air. It does look like it will hurt the HFA chance though.

1-15 and who did we beat that year?
who won the SB that year?

if you count that redskin game then factor the seattle game and call it a wash.

I'm not sold on Arizona just yet ...and they will need the fight of there life to lock up HFA.

Look at the Schedule ... Hawks twice, KC, San Fran, ATL and the Rams at home who just beat Denver there.
I would not be surprised to see Arizona go on a losing streak.

It's not Arizona I'm worried about. I think GB wins out or at most loses 1 game.

I don't see that knee getting any better with time.

I like our chances if we could just get the #2 seed and get the bye. Like our chances much better going to Arizona in January than to Green Bay.

The only team I am worried about is the Cowboys. Don't care who other teams play and haven't tried to figure out the playoff picture. I'm not 100% sold we win enough games to get in and I sure as heck haven't started to worry about seeding or who we play in the playoffs. I like what I've seen so far, but I think we will have a better idea in a couple of weeks what we are. I don't buy that beating Jax in London is a bounce back from losing to Washington and i don't see as a sure thong to bet the Giants. Plus, I am still skeptical about Romo's health.

As far as who looks legit. I liked GB before the season started to play Denver in the SB and haven't changed my mind. This Arizona team reminds me a lot of last years KC team in that i dont think they are anywhere near as good as their record. I don't expect any noise from them in the post season at all.

I agree with you about Green Bay. I never had Denver going back to the super bowl. And after what has transpired with the bronco's the past 3 weeks, I have a feeling things are about to fall apart there.

That's why To me the Wash game stings so bad. It was a home game vs a backup Qb to a team that is very bad. Not only did we losE that one but we lost the next one as well. Believe me , I know the Giants game will be tough. Hell the 49ers got 5 picks and barely won. I've always said to me it's all about the Super Bowl. Playoffs are fine and good but if you don't win its just another Romo can't win the big game. Best way to get to the Super Bowl is to get HFA and losing to the Skins hurt those chances bad.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
