I have to believe he is number 1 on the Gators wish list. Why wouldn't he be? Imagine Kelly at Florida getting a top 5 recruiting class every yr. while at Oregon , he really never had that. Don't get me wrong, he had good players but not the same kind he would have in Florida. Not many ducks that make it big in the NFL. Then again does he need great players. Foles and Sanchez have actually looked pretty good. Not afraid to say it- go to Gainesville Chip

Those big time college coaches though, I Have to believe can't take the losing that comes with the NFL. No matter what - in the NFL - you are gonna lose some. In college, one maybe two for Chip. Not to mention its Philly????

RomoToDez, I have to admit I like many of your posts. Interesting and no homerism involved. I think Chips ego is big enough to hang around the NFL for a little bit and see if he can get a ring. But you're right, he'd be an incredible hire for a high profile program like the Gators. He's made some mistakes this year but definitely is a good coach.

Re: ChiP
Liked him at Oregon don't like him in Philly
go to Florida Chip better weather and well its not Philly
Seriously He is a good coach and would do well in florida and will do well if he stays in Philly and finds as QB
Now the Redskins well lets just smile and enjoy the debacle in DC

My son is a huge Oregon fan for some reason. Ha. He actually just hates the SEC because I let him hear about it all the time. I enjoy staying up with him on Saturday night watching the West coast games. Over the years, I grew fond of Ole Chip. Never thought he would go pro. He has always seemed one step ahead of everyone else. He is the type like Jimmy that will be successful at whatever he does.

If his play calling keeps his QB's at risk of injury I have no problem with him remaining in Philly.

snap the chin strap....next 6 weeks will be fun
What does this have to do with anything? Who was talking about Eagles superiority in the first place? What does Ryans injury have to do with Chip Kelly going to Florida?

Gee....everyone when it comes to the NFC east.
September to present. Just last week, eagle nation had 4 losses tops. I guess thats Chip cause I don't see the sure fire better talent on D, or the oline, QB, WR or even RB this season.
any who how......take a walk if you don't like the post. Matters to me what you think.

LOL....and to think I thought You would be a target with this post.
oh well
I dont get this drama thing. Makes ZERO sense. I just post football talk but you ride BJJ nuts like hes the man when all he EVER did was post crap. Sean Lee is the best D player in the NFC East. Since hes not playing there is not one player on Dallas D right now better then Fletcher Cox, Mychael Kendricks or Conner Barwin. NOT ONE!

I agree with the bold part of what you said. I remember a lot of people having Dallas #1 on the power rankings until they lost the two in a row. People always pick teams in the pre season who they think will be better but they are often wrong. At this point I really dont know who is better between Philly and Dallas. I give the edge to Dallas right now because of how Murray is playing and Dallas having an advantage at QB. But are you for real. Quoting "The Eagles Nation" and them saying the Eagles lose 4 tops. Thats not really everybody in my opinion. Maybe they only do lose 4... but I doubt it.

Re: ChiP
opinions will vary sir
the drama thing made sense to me long before Blue jersey posted on the hoop... and I remain fine with opinions that vary. You should try it....less drama
or perhaps....you might just call me a dic...........that is what you do

Re: ChiP
That is not what I do PDay. I've always respected your football posts and a lot of others too. I called you that because that's how you've been acting recently. But I've come to you for advice and sent you articles that you might find interesting. The people I go after post crap like, "Chip and the Eagles suck cause they run up the score detting style points." When I point out Dallas and GB did the same exact thing his answer is, well I didn't watch the Cowboys. Or, "The Eagles D sucks and the only reason the Eagles win is because teams give them free turnovers and let them run kicks back". I don't think I've ever ripped you for a football post because you don't post garbage like some. I did go after you for siding with BJJ who we both know is a complete fraud. I know you know football and you know I do too. Its just these weasels who can't even be remotely objective. Remember BJJ last year? The Eagles are the worst team in the NFL and Dallas is going 16 and 0.
