I'm a pacer when I watch the Cowboys. Wife says I look as though I'm waiting to see a new born child. Needless to say I paced a lot tonight. Especially waiting on that last call.
I had no problem attempting to run the ball at the end with Murray.

Yeah I wasn't a big fan of that third down, but that was also obvious PI that the refs missed. His right arm was all over Williams.
I miss Sean Lee

Re: Wow
This was a game that showed this is a different team IMO. They clutched it out at the end. In previous years Eli would have come down the field and put the team in FG range for the win.
I'll be a little critical though. I didnt think we played that great. I know the stats were great, but Romo didn't look good IMO. I don't think he is healthy yet. He had no zip on the ball and wasn't very accurate either. How the Hell does he take that sack when he is out of the pocket and rolling right? It's like he still doesn't know the rule after all this time. If I remember that made it 3rd and 17 and killed any chance of a drive. Throw the damn ball away!!! He floated the ball all over the place all night. The TD to Dez was kind of a lucky play. He was cringing and lofted into a dangerous spot. A 1st down interception there would have been a tough one to take. That incompletion to Williams should have been zipped in for a big 3rd down completion, but he babied it out there and let the defender close. His deep balls were again poor, even the completed ones (Hannah and the one called back) were underthrown. Luckily the OL was great in pass protection and I thought the receivers got open all night and made big plays after the catch. But,,,all that negative stuff being said, his accuracy was there on the last drive and he won us the game and if we are going to criticize when he has a great game and chokes at the end, we must give him credit for the win first and foremost. I was also surprised by Murray. He ran hard and had a good game, but the great vision he normally shows didn't seem to be there. How many plays did you think he would get way more yards than he ended up with because a guy grabbed him that you didn't think should have been able to or because he seemed to cut the wrong way. I guess it could have just been a case of give the Giants D credit for swarming to the ball and holding the point of attack on a few of those plays.
All in all, I really am not trying to have a sour post or complain about a big win. I think we did what we needed to and we showed heart again like we have all year, but I am not as confident as I would think after a big win to get to 8-3.

I would just say the Giants played great in the 1st half, while Dallas was just so-so. 2nd have the teams played like they are what they are. Dallas a playoff contender and NY not so much. We escaped with a win that in recent years we would not have gotten. A good defensive draft in 15 can make this team a true contender.

Romo didn't look good? I have no idea how to respond to that. It's probably best if I just don't and go on. I will say I thought his two deep balls that he completed to Hannah and the one that got called back were perfect throws. Hannah catches 5 balls a yr. I don't want to see him on the run having to make a catch. The one to Dez looked to me like he hit him in stride, of course on the move doing it.

Re: Wow
""This qualifies as a team win, because all three phases contributed.
The defense, pathetic nearly the entire first half, allowed New York to score touchdowns on each of its first three drives. Then the Giants went six possessions without scoring until they took a 28-24 lead on Adrian Robinson’s 1-yard touchdown catch with 3:00 left.
That gave Romo way too much time to lead the Cowboys to his 23rd come-from-behind win.
And the special teams were just that, with Dwayne Harris, in particular, offering outstanding coverage on kicks and punt returns in the second half.
This win provided one more piece of tangible evidence that Dallas coach Jason Garrett’s process works. You probably get as sick of hearing it as the players do, but it’s all part of creating a culture that’s been missing at the club’s Valley Ranch training facility since Bill Parcells left.
It’s about having the right kind of guys on the roster who can battle through adversity.""

McClain could be cowboy MVP in many many ways.

maybe it's me after the last few seasons but this team sure seems the "true" contender to me.
I haven't seen this type of team in Dallas for a very long time.
Character & desire throughout a team is a wonderful thing to see from the star

“We started executing better,” Marinelli said. “To me, it was just mindset, getting ready to play and playing hard – really playing hard.”
At one point, Marinelli was asked if the bye week hurt the defense’s readiness to play. It didn’t go over well.
“Those are excuses. You’re either ready or not, you play one snap at a time,” he said.

Even in the Jaxsonville game, Romo is putting more air under the ball on long and deep throws. A lot of wabble on many throws and your right, hardly no zip on the ball since the Washington game. Its a concern for me. Otherwise, he is playing at a high level. We're fortunate to have a high level O-line at the moment with an RB having a MVP year so far.

Mine too...

but McClain rescued this season. I think he deserves Pro Bowl consideration, but I bet he wants no part of that.
Really like what this guy has been for this team
