Not sure who all has been banned completely or just some privileges revoked. I think someone said they couldn't start a thread or something. Anyway, would you be willing to go back or just stay here. I know a few of us still post there some. A thread was started in which the question was asked what happened. Hammer said he doubted the ones banned would want to come back. I said I couldn't speak for everyone but some might.

Personally", this board serves it's purpose but it tends to be hot and then cold.

Just sending out the question

banned, can read but not comment whatsoever.

Wouldn't be interested in going back so long as they let the inmates run the asylum (UK), and get their mods under control. Mods of other boards/teams should not be allowed to banned people from an entire site when they get butt hurt. Skidmark mods need to keep their ass off of the Dallas board

If they want to ban people from a specific board fine keep trolls off other teams boards but if the jackasses want to ban people entirely screw them. Site is being ran by a bunch of butt hurt children. There are the obvious "boys" fans that troll and say the dumbest **** that it brings down the board and incites incredible fights, they do nothing to combat that crap.

I gotcha man. I'm not sure who they would let back. I was just asked if the banned members wanted to come back.

I once saw a movie with Richrd Prior in it titled Moving. It was about a family that lived in Chicago or NY and due to the fathers job they were transferred to Idaho. In other words, they moved to a place that seemed totally different than what they were use to. For some odd reason, ever since we have been on this board I have thought of that movie. The majority of us are hardcore Dallas Cowboy fans and we are posting on a basketball board. It's like we have our own little place here and the majority of members of Realgm probably has no clue we are even here. I occasionally got on the Cubs board at the hoop but primarily it was Cowboys so this place is fine with me. I rarely ever mingled with opposing fans. I just like to hear about my team. With that being said, this place has days where little action goes on. As far as the fights, I agree. There were times where I was called every name in the book and nothing was done, but then people were banned for minor things. I see where u are coming from.

I enjoyed the O's board there while I was there. Which is one reason that those mods piss me off had fun following and posting there while the O's were completing for once and now that the offseason has started all I can do is read..... I'd go back to the O's board but highly doubt I would post on the Dallas board thanks to those Mods and Hammer

Hey pools. What was your name over at the hoop cowboys board?

I am not allowed to start threads, participate in polls or basically do anything but respond to threads. The irony is I wasnt starting any threads or doing any of the things I am banned from doing now. I only responded to the nimrods that were embellishing what happened. I was just keeping it real, never lied or exaggerated anything. Just corrected them on the recent current events. & might have mentioned how it was Bull$h!t. So the one thing they didn't like from me. (me responding) is now the only thing I am allowed to do there LOL
I hadn't started a thread on the cowboys board ever since Fordman asked me & Manster not to start threads about twist or Pday. So I started none at all.
Now I wont even participate on that Cowboys board. Why would I want to help a board full of such total horse$h!t & where they allow such sniveling b!tches to run the roost.
I do however respond on other boards, such as the NFL (not about Cowboys stuff though) all the different racing boards, entertainment, boxing, & such. Before all the drama with the FNers though. The Hoop was my main Cowboys board I participated in, so it was a shame they went stupid on their own rules & ruined that board.
Personally though, I don't really have an issue with Texheat. The actual drama queen I cant stand seeing post over there is Otis. he is the only one I really have an issue with. As long as they aren't talking out their A$Ses (lie) about what/who ever that cant come & defend themselves anymore, I see no reason to participate on the cowboys board. Which they havent done in a bit. So it might take them awhile longer to actually ban me fully. Unless they just do it for $h!ts & giggles.

I've been over there the last few days. Does anyone ever remember a guy named Stars or Stars fan. He may be one you are talking about Schmoopy , I'm not sure. He seems ok though. Otis and Txt Heat are still around. Otis is actually the one who asked if the banned people would come back

Funny thing is that I was banned, but now I am able to post again. I just tried a day or so ago and it allowed my post to get through.

I wonder if Hammer silently undid some of the bans realizing the board was dying off.

Yep I was told that people were banned for saying bad things about the Hoop

I miss posting on the general board and the Redskins and Boys board back at the Hoop.

Basically got banned for telling Hammer his business sense was way off by not having a growing thriving Cowboys board and saying that Pday got a raw deal getting banned but Cali after Hammer called our board a Dumpster Fire

Never been banned from anything ever

I might go back and post if allowed but will not beg to do so

Well since Hammer said some were banned for recruiting they either got that info from Ford and the pickem board or they went through our PM's.

I'm of the belief it was PM spying since we didn't talk that much about it on the pickem.

To hell with the hoop. I will NOT go back. I haven't even looked at that board for a week or two until this thread was made.

Correct and if you read everything you would know they were reading PMs, but i always assumed Mods read PMs on all sites just to make sure nothing crazy is going on. He talked about posters recruiting others to leave. That was only done through PMs and that is why my ability to start threads or send PMs was revoked (and since reinstated). But, i never sent anyone a PM about leaving, or trying to get others to do so, i only received the info so i think it was kind of just done in bulk. Any way, the Internet is big. Don't understand why one site would worry about a poster also posting on other sites. It's actually good for all as people could bring others from the alternate sites to post at each.

Should have read further. I agree with you Manster on the PMs. Also think they are reading here, but I really don't care. The only thing that would bother me would be if UK started showing up here. He brought down the Hoop Cowboy board even though those that are still there don't seem to realize it, or don't want to admit it. I know most of you hate Otis, but he doesn't bother me, only UK and Texas Heat.
