What I liked about Romo Sunday.

Obviously I liked the fact he was (except for that one pass) lights out on his passing, but what I really liked was the fact he ran the ball when he had an open field. So many times this year he would have a wide open field to run & get 1st downs &/or huge chunks of yards, but pass it trying to get the completion. So I was very happy to see him run the ball when the opportunity arose, which will force the teams to worry about that which will open up some completions, later. I hated when he threw an INC when he could have ran for the 1st down before this weekend. Also makes me wonder if he is feeling better. 1st time I seen him throw it that well, & add in the fact he was running the 1st time this year. Hopefully he is feeling it at the perfect time of the year (& I don't mean pain)

Heres to Romo running it more often when the defenses worry to much about him passing it Image

Romo looked very well Sunday. Looked healthy for the first time in weeks, had zip on his ball and is playing at a very high mental level. He looks poised for a very long playoff run.

I think he pretty much did everything well. He had a stupid early sack that took us out of FG range and the late pass that could have been a pick 6, but for the most part he was incredible. I'd assume player of the week without looking around at who else did well this weekend. Best thing he did was take some of the burden off of Murray and gave us a chance to rest everyone a little late. Would absolutely love a blowout win next week to rest both Murray and Romo again.

Would it be safe to say the two best teams we played all year were the Colts and Sea? Those were probably our two best games. Colt game was our best Offensive game of the year and Sea was our best defensive, but in both the whole team was great

I agree it was a bad sack to take but it didn't knock us out of fg range. Bailey just missed. I almost said it last night but didnt- Bailey has been shaky lately. I know 2 of his 4 misses were blocked but even his extra points the last few weeks haven't been down the middle. He has been off a bit.

Since the Egals turned out to be the frauds I always thought were early in the year, I think I agree with you.

Totally agree. Aside from those 2 plays you mentioned, I thought Romo was flawless. His high level play reminded of what Staubach, Montana and Aikman In December used to do going into the playoffs. Oops, did I just compare Romo to Staubach, Montana and Aikman?
