So we have a club option

on Doug Free. I think he has been fine as a starter. Don't think he has been spectacular by no means but not horrible either. I have thought when he was injured his replacements have been left lacking. if the teams takes the option he will cost 11+ mil. If the boys don't take it. It leaves a hole in the line. That this team basically lives off of.
So do you think they will take the club option or let him walk?
I think we let him go. Don't know who the tackles are coming out of college, but figure it wont take a 1st rd. pick to replace him being it is the RT (not LT)
I so want to draft defense in the 1st round (1st 3 rounds really) but pretty much know that wont happen. So if we go to the draft & not the waiver wire. What round do you think we would take a RT? That would be capable of starting next year?
I am not a college guru, & don't remember if those here are, or if the people all in on college players are still at the other board.
Right tackle is the position of curiosity for me next year. What do you think happens?
