I for one find this intriguing.

1992 DALLAS COWBOYS
- Jimmy Johnson entered his 4th full year as the Cowboys head coach.
- Beat the defending Super Bowl champs.
- The starting quarterback set a new franchise record for highest completion % in a single season.
- The star wide receiver (who wears #88) enters his 5th year in the NFL and is voted to his 2nd consecutive Pro Bowl (and 2nd of his career).
- The star running back leads the NFL in rushing yards.
- The young, dominant center earns his first trip to the Pro Bowl.
- Nine different defenders recorded at least 1 interception.
- No defensive players selected for the Pro Bowl.
- Won all games vs AFC opponents.
- Won the NFC East in Week 16 - a week before the regular season finale

2014 DALLAS COWBOYS
- Jason Garrett entered his 4th full year as the Cowboys head coach.
- Beat the defending Super Bowl champs.
- The starting quarterback set a new franchise record for highest completion % in a single season.

1992 Cowboys - Won their 1st of 3 Super Bowl's that decade.

that is pretty trippy.

Now if for some reason the rams beat the hawks sunday, I might have to start believing in this stars aligned thing.

If the Rams win we have to pull for the 9ers too.

well if only the rams win the packers & hawks have to eliminate each other before the championship game. Meanwhile we have the lions & cards to get there. I don't mind being #3 if the pack & Hawks have to play each other before championship game. leaves us only having to play one.

seems like every most likely outcome means we have to go through both.

Are the stars aligned? A big time yes. I expect to see the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

yeah. most likely this is the case. My scenario I gave was the best one I could find, & only one (excluding a rare tie) I could find where we only play one of them. Would rather be #3 in this scenario than #2 & have to play both.

As of right now your scenario is on target. We'd play Detroit then most likely Arizona. Seattle would play Carolina then GB. Of course with Rogers currently on the sidelines I expect this game to turn.

Last regular season game, didn't we get spanked so bad Wade Phillips lost his job?

Packer's - Cowboy's. Ice Bowl game. Earth quakes in Irving, Texas this week and one of my all time favorite players from the past, Jethro Pugh passes away. Are the Cowboy Gods trying to tell us something this week?
