no option needed here....might still sign back with Dallas anyways. He needs another 1/2 year deal tops

I hate to lose him for the season, but his snaps have been dwindling of late. T. McClain and Hayden have been more affective IMO. I had read a few weeks back that Melton might be the odd man out when it came to active/ inactive list if everyone was healthy.
