Very much looking forward to it. Let's see who is as billed.

I'd still throw early to loosen running lanes

I fully expect Dez to have a big game.

I think we are going to have to throw a decent amount for sure this week. This won't be a week where we can run the ball 30 plus times and dominate the time of possession. As long as we can run it enough to keep their DL from being one dimensional and pinning back their ears and targeting Romo I think we will be fine on Offense. I look for Beasley to keep making a few good plays for us. Those 5 yard curls on 3rd and 10 that he turns into 11 yard gains have been back breakers...don't be surprised if we see a screen pass to Harris also. That play worked well for us in past years, but he just hasn't been given the chance this year.

Starting to get a little nervous already. The more I read and think about it, the worse I get.

What's making you nervous? This is the best Cowboys offensive line in years.

Calvin vs. our pass defense.

Stafford did not look that sharp last week but he still threw 3 td's

From the standpoint of 1 playoff win in 17 or so years ...this will be the hardest game in the world and cannot be underestimated.

I never put too much stock in distant past. Recent past (3 maybe 4 years) yes I can see where that matters but these most of these guys were barely in elementary school if you want to go back 17+ years. 5 years ago many were in college. They have nothing to do with our win/loss history. Grade them on their time in the NFL.

It has a little bit of an effect. Some of these guys might put additional pressure on themselves to finally deliver that playoff win that fans have been clamoring for.

Detroit hasn't won a playoff game in 24 years. They might press just as much if not more than our players.

well....that's who you are.
Least for all the years I've shared football opinions with you.

this type of needless worries is why I'm glad you & I never shared the same dugout.

As with all football games...turnovers and brain farts can derail the best of um, but Dallas looks the part to me. Least for one more week they do. A win on Sunday makes this the most encouraging football season for me since Aikman was under center. No question I've enjoyed this Dallas Cowboy football season and see a team focused on the task at hand. Can't wait!!

What is Stafford now 0-17 against teams with winning records on the road? Double cover Calvin put OS on Tate. Stafford will throw 2+ ints this week.

We protect with no turnovers and we win easy.

Pass early to set up the run Lions will stack the box early, Play action on the opening play. 1st quarter we need to gut them with the pass 2:1 then move to the run. Keep the pressure on Stafford and we will be fine

I'm kinda thinking along the same lines

I'm not playing, I have no control. It's been 20 years almost from the last Super Bowl.

Needless worries?? I can't wait for the game either, but I'm not going to say we are going to win by 30 either. Worried, excited, anxious- whatever- this is huge . Aikman used to speak of the finality of the playoffs and how he loved that aspect of it. Playoffs aren't a given for us every year like they use to be. Injuries, roster turnover, etc. changes the landscape .

Sit back and enjoy the ride. Only one team will win the SB, but that doesn't mean only one teams fans can have a fun year...

I really see this game as the top of the hill. Win it, fans and critics alike would unanimously see it as a great and fun year for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm already proud as hell of this squad regardless of the outcome. But it's all house money if we win it.

I like the humility here. A lot of my friends, who are Dallas Cowboys fans, have been spending the last few days talking trash to anyone and everyone within earshot. Makes me kind of want to root against the team, so they'll shut up.
