Post#1 » by Manster7588 » Mon Jan 12, 2015 9:46 pm

Home:
NY Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlanta, Carolina, New England, NY Jets, Seattle

Away
NY Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, Miami, Green Bay

Sweep the east and win the other easy game puts us at 13 or 14 wins.

Whens the last time you guys swept the East? Next year is going to be harder with the FA departures and the 1st place schedule (GB, Seattle, NE).

If Romo isn't hurt the final game in 2013, we sweep the east

as always...thanks for your concerns about all things Dallas

Oh, so the Eagles only won because you didnt have Romo. If I used that excuse with Sanchez. So you guys went 8-8 but 5 and 1 in the division. I need to go double check that.

Youre right but that was lame bringing up the Romo injury when you didnt hear one Eagle bitching about losing our starting QB. Infact we won with our backup.

So earlier today we were much better than Philly and now we don't make the playoffs if Foles wasn't hurt?

You actually said the same thing after the Eagles beat the Cowboys in that finale.

I think the Cowboys still make the playoffs. The Cowboys sht on everybody they faced in December and that included 3 road wins where they averaged over 40 points a game and Foles would not have scored at least 39 points against Dallas, because that is what was required to beat Dallas in Philly. Sorry, Foles was not keeping Dallas out of the playoffs. Any other time, I might agree with you. I think the Eagles would have finished 11-5, but that wouldn't have been enough. You are overlooking just how dominant Dallas was in December. Over 40 points a game and won by double digits in every game including a ridiculous blowout win against a team that is in the AFC Championship.

Last year we went 5 and 1 ..we lose the last game to the Eagles by 2 points with Romo on the operating table and Orton under center.

Having a senior moment?

And Im not talking out both sides of my mouth. After watching Dallas hang with GB I knew that they are much better then Philly this year. But when PDay acted like Dallas woulda swept Philly last year if Romo was in... then I said, "I guess I could use that same logic for this year". You guys are quick to twist stuff around and all of you know 100% exactly what I was getting at. PDay acted like it was a given that if Romo played Dallas would have won. But Philly beat Dallas with their back up so why didnt Dallas PDay? I think Dallas and Philly are pretty close and either team could win the division next year. But I do think that Dallas is built better for the playoffs. THey have the ability to stay close to teams that are better then them but when Philly plays a team thats better then them their hurry up offense can put them in a big hole quick. Both teams have good offenses but I like the COwboys traditional style better. Both teams need to rebuild their Defenses.

What I was getting at is Manster thinking Dallas will just sweep the East and go 14-2. I HIGHLY doubt that. 2012 The Redskins won the division and everyone thought they'd win again and that Philly would come in last. Then Philly won the division in 2013 and the entire nation had us winning again in 2014 and many people predicted the Cowboys to crumble. Now Dallas wins in 2014 and Manster thinks that they're gonna sweep the East and have an INCREDIBLE 14-2 season. I really doubt that because at this time Dallas doesnt have a D to do that well and they will also be losing some starters via free agency.

Am I predicting the Cowboys to tumble in 2015? I have no idea but recent history has shown its REALLY hard to repeat in the NFC East. I wouldnt be surprised if Dallas won the division and I also wouldnt be surprised if they dont make the playoffs. All the teams in the NFC East are flawed and I think any team can win the division next year... especially the Giants.

We have a draft, a FA period, a training camp to go before anyone can start plugging in 14 wins by the Cowboys.

As I remember that game Dallas couldnt stop Philly from scoring 24 straight and almost winning the game until Sanchezs 4th quarter turnovers. Philly could have EASILY won that game. Its funny you think Dallas dominated that game. Philly was winning late in that game and our back up QB did what most back up QBs do. He absolutely shredded Dallas for large parts of that game.

You're easier to read than a Dr Seuss book. Always butt hurt any time we Cowboy fans dis the Eagles here on the Cowboys board.

Think about every year I flatly refuse to predict our record until preseason is over.

Did you even stop to think that maybe, just maybe I put that out there for you and rectum?

Here's a simple idea. If you don't want to read me put down that efed team and it's classless fans don't read my posts.

Drama drives the message board as long as it's the right kinda drama...ask the boys& girl that run the hoop

sorry....I see no parallel between Romo missing the last game at 5-0 and Mark playing Dallas with 2 1/2 days rest.
Thankfully my red hot sports opinions are found on a Dallas Cowboy chat board and not some general forum pushing an agenda
